These guys live on a really big ranch, one of the last around here. They eyed me warily and then took off.
It isn't nearly that pretty outside my window, especially today. It's dark and cloudy and windy. But before it got too cold out me and Leilani went to the park that is right outside our building and played with the other little kids. We actually met a couple nice little boys that are Leilani's age and their parents are nice too. So we will be going to play with them all the time now. I love that she has some new friends that actually nice and behave well.
Today and tomorrow are my days off so we have time to just hang out and have fun. We just made brownies and some yummy juice. It's been fun. I wish tomorrow would be nice so we could spend some time in the sun, but it's supposed to storm again, but oh well. Hopefully we do something awesome. lol I have a feeling tonight is a movie and junk food (and popcorn)kind of night :D
Hope you all have a happy Friday!!
Day 12 : A picture of a ticket to the last place you went.
Random Fact : I'm not a dog person, but if I were to ever get a dog it would be an english mastiff. I know 2 very sweet ones that I am absolutely in love with. :D
The view of part of Stromness Harbour from within the Pier Arts Centre. Being such a very wet day the view outside the big window was significantly impaired by the streams of water down the outside of it!
I took some senior portraits last night. We had to scram to get to the location before the sun set. When we got there, it just set :/ But we got a few good shots. This one was my favorite though :)

I also had another senior portrait session today. I probably won't post those on Flickr, so look for those on my facebook page!

Of all the various water birds that congregate together to omit a cacophony of quacks and calls at Slimbridge, it's the Monty-Python-esque Eider that compels and amuses me the most. Despite this, it's worth making clear that this one's 'not the messiah', but 'a very naughty boy!' who's been given a slight feminine touch post production.
It's a far cry from the original B&O station, but the trackside windows in the new Amtrak Station in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, suggest the days when people worked and traveled on rails more frequently.

I go to Kirtan at least once a month at Integral Yoga Institute, we chant and sing mantras on the top floor it's called heaven, this is the view from it.
I wonder if the residents in these apartments just sit and take in the great views across the sea, all day!!
