Of all the various water birds that congregate together to omit a cacophony of quacks and calls at Slimbridge, it's the Monty-Python-esque Eider that compels and amuses me the most. Despite this, it's worth making clear that this one's 'not the messiah', but 'a very naughty boy!' who's been given a slight feminine touch post production.
It's a far cry from the original B&O station, but the trackside windows in the new Amtrak Station in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, suggest the days when people worked and traveled on rails more frequently.

I go to Kirtan at least once a month at Integral Yoga Institute, we chant and sing mantras on the top floor it's called heaven, this is the view from it.
I wonder if the residents in these apartments just sit and take in the great views across the sea, all day!!

This was not posed, I swear! We stopped in a field for a few shots and I was lucky enough to catch this magic.
The background - after running around for a few seconds, they both walked up, looked around, and started scratching their heads at the same time. I couldn't have planned it better. I asked them what they were thinking about and the title is what they said.
I processed four versions separately to get the look and combined them in CS4 -one for the ground, the corn, the kids and the sky. I hope you like it.
The approach was steep. There was not trail. We were all thirsty. The bugs were bad (gross understatement). Matt's Pack was the heaviest. nearly 6000 feet elevation gain to the ridge. = One crazy way of breaking in our newest hiking partner.
Matt was cursing Aaron and I on the way up but the payoff was all worth it. A full day of Alpine Disneyland.
This shot from our trip to Silvertip Mountain, which was about two weeks ago now.
