A nicely worn example of an original UK car, I was secretly hoping at the time that this had a longterm owner, but it doesn't. I wonder if any DS cars over here do? This appeared to be receiving some sort of pre MOT work carried out, as it was still on SORN when I first checked, yet now comes up as taxed.

The glacial till must have been washed off the land over the raised beach, once it was raised above sea level.
most of the HK Express A320/A321 fleet has been sitting idle in this area, surrounded by now parent Cathay Pacific Airways Airbus and Boeing widebodies - the new normal becoming a "regular" sight!

Seeing any 'forward control' vans of this era seems difficult in 2021. I would imagine this is in longterm ownership judging by the condition of it.

secret: long-term, I can be the most patient person around. short-term, forget about it. I can enjoy things during the time being for the long-term.. but short-term, things are usually too soon and I don't have enough time to fully enjoy something to distract me, so I just sit there boucing off walls until the time arrives.
It's a surreal atmosphere at the Forggensee lake near Füssen in the Allgäu! The blue hour and far and wide not a soul contribute even more... The wind then threw a spanner in the works, so that I didn't get a nice reflection in the water... But that's nature, soon the lake will be full again and beautiful moments of memory and one or two photos will remain...

No steel wool, just some fine parts of pyro material...
On 16 April we bid farewell to Lufthansa's Airbus A380-841 D-AIME "Johannesburg" which was transferred into longterm storage from FRA to TEV as flight LH 9922.
It is very doubtful that we'll see her at FRA again as LH's management decided to get rid of these great birds. Very sad...

This is a night shot over the Central Market to the west. The picture was taken out of a window of the Hilton. The light traces were quite nice.

truffle boxes
originally used as a
cheap & handy canvas substitute
painted over
with acrylic paints
& alternative DIY brushes & tools
such as discarded plastic cards
organic materials
cardbord scraps
& anything I could grab
within my working space
after this was done
the 20 boxes got stacked
underneath may working desk
never to be touched again
- until October 2018
when I started
to fix little painted story books
on cardboard remnants
little did I know
how much fun this would be
& how diverse I could get.
By now
all boxes are filled
& a couple more
different sized candy boxes
still in the making
