Long Weekend (Colin Eggleston, 1978)

Hope everyone south of the border has a safe and happy 4th of July.

Leigh was just as in awe of the coastline as I was. He's been there many times before but it still amazes him.

Some shots from an amazing weekend over in Ireland with my good friend Leigh. One of the best weekends I can remember...and I'll hopefully be heading back for more sometime. It's such a beautiful place.

how can you live with yourself putting up ads like this i wonder. im not a huge hockey fan but this just makes me sick. i guess it's the truth of all spaces though ..

Taking the last day of the long weekend to explore Cabramatta. Quite a cultural place. Such a strong Asian vibe. A bit crowded. But they have a horse in the middle of the town - that I like!

I recommend the sugar cane juice from Thu Phung N. People were queuing but on that hot day it was so refreshing and delicious! It's just $3 for a large.

studying for our (brutal) grad algorithms midterm all weekend.

Beaver Valley and the escarpment is a blaze in colours ....

About three weeks ago, Henry was over at Queenscliff, but then decided he liked Point Lonsdale better.

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Those that get it. Be safe

Lots of people escaping the heat on a long weekend in March at Rosebud.

Out of all the soldiers in the three pits they have excavated only one soldier was entirely intact and unbroken. This is largely because they were buried in pits and then the pits were covered by roofs made of timber and laid with mats and the covered with mud. These eventually collapsed and crushed the soldiers. When I saw this scene it reminded me Duncan's classic photo of the iPhone.

On our way to Dublin from Rosslare, the colour of the sky was changing minute by minute so we turned off the main road and headed up into the hills.
