04 OCTOBER 2020

2nd part of the day.

Took the Manly ferry to Manly.

Short walk to The Pantry Manly for some food and a drink. Awesome location. Overlooking the beach! Had their Manly Mule. Bold cocktail. High alcohol content but it was GREAT! The dish was Fresh Humpty Doo Barramundi Fillet GRILLED with lemon to squeeze + warm salad of artichokes, asparagus, baby potatoes,

roasted cherry tomatoes & goats cheese. I really enjoyed the dish. For a dish like that, normally, the fish is great but the sides are not...This was different - the veggies were incredible.

Took a long walk along the beach. Sun was going down so I was able to get some creative shots. I love the one with the road turning and sloping down and the sun rays coming from behind the trees and the sea in the background! The original uncropped is so pretty...

Ended at Shelly Beach.

Took a few pictures including one of my writing in the sand and a picture of this family sitting down the ramp. Isolated. Looking at the sea and the sunset together. I quickly took the shot and left, I didn't want to ruin their moment. Some people are just EXTREMELY blessed, that's for sure!

The crowds were getting to be at a dangerous level and more were pouring in down George Street.

If there had been an incident and then a panic, where would we go?

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Those that get it. Be safe

Over the Canada Day longweekend, my girlfriend and I were able to go up to the Bruce Peninsula National Park. There is just so much rugged rock and blue water there. An excellent place to hike. It was a hot day so the cold water was refreshing.

I wrote a bit about the trip on the blog.

The May long weekend always brings the annual river run. The idea is to build something that floats (hopefully) and float down the river and over the light rapids. All the rafts usually sport chairs and coolers. The second one here comes complete with a picnic table! We overheard one group proclaim that maybe they should have brought a paddle as they approached the rapids. If they successfully make it down the river, there is a nice beach area where they can all gather later in the afternoon. It was a bit overcast today, and the water is cold, so hoping not too many people ended up in the river!

Designed by architect Sidney Badgley, Massey Hall was completed in 1894 at a cost of $152,390.75.[4] Construction was financed by Hart Massey of Massey-Harris (later Massey Ferguson) holding company. The hall's debut concert was on June 14, 1894. In 1933, the Massey Foundation undertook further renovations to the hall. It is currently used for a variety of events and is operated by the same corporation as Roy Thomson Hall.

The Ed Mirvish Theatre is a historic film and play theatre in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was initially known as the Pantages Theatre, then became the Imperial Theatre first as a huge cinema and then a six screen multiplex. Garth Drabinsky purchased the theatre and reopened it as the Pantages. In 1989 its first musical Phantom of the Opera opened with Colm Wilkinson as the Phantom.

After Drabinsky's company was liquidated by the courts the Mirvish family purchased the theatre and reopened it as the Canon Theatre. After family scion Ed passed away the theatre was renamed in his honour.

Once the sun had disappeared, the sky looked quite eerie. There was a haze in the air which added to the depth of colour.

Some shots from an amazing weekend over in Ireland with my good friend Leigh. One of the best weekends I can remember...and I'll hopefully be heading back for more sometime. It's such a beautiful place.

They would make jumps for people to eat shit on(look at the larger picture to see). Then everyone would laugh and laugh and heckle. I loved it. Couldn't stop splittin a gut. LOVE THOSE GUYS!

My friends and fellows ...

I'm still having problems where I am on the internet, the connection does not support the SL, so it gets a little hard work ... But so it'll normalize with the last post! Thank you for caring and for your patience. <3

Kiss for all <3

February 27 - after a several hours of driving, we stop at Manning Lodge to stretch our legs. Ok, to do a few hours of skiing. What a great day to be outdoors, and thank you groomers for setting such a perfect trail!
