Beautiful colors in the sunshine through the len actually could be the result of air pollution.
There are more and more natural disasters occured at all aspects from the climates down to earthquakes in recent years, which become the warn sign to people all over the world. Some of them are due to human bening's industries revolution & over consumption issue in life for the centuries, which brought us the pollution from the air till our mind in depth. The environment we lives in physical and we think in mind was polluted more or more. All kinds of words, sound, symbols related to the racial, the gender , the social status, and the country discrimination etc we created annoyed our soul & mind and caused more or more wars conflict from the people around the the world. All kinds of the air, water, food pollutions from all kinds of electronic & medical industries & instruments bring huge impact to our life & enfluence to our health.
Here I try to utilze & combine some different elements such as the leaves, the flowers, the sky, the mountain, the fog , rain & wind from the nature, and the railway station, the light, graffitti from the artifical world , and create the image which like the symbol or metaphor about what we breathe, we listen, we saw and we live together now in daily life .
With all these messy stuffs we got from the life and the world day by day , and it become the disturbance to our mind , and hard to seek the beauty of the clarity & the simplicity of the world we live and the mind we used to own. Let's try our best not only decrease the air pollution from the nature, but also simpify ourself from thoughts to mind if posssible from now on . And hope we can enjoy the happiness of simplicity & keep the longlasting of earth moving forwards.

I've been debating what to get either Oregon 400t or GPSMAP 60CSx? I tested both unit at REI recently. I like the IPOD Touch like feature of Oregon 400t which makes it really easy to use, its performance to date is still questionable though. The screen backlighting is really poor when viewed at direct sunlight, Garmin needs to improve this, whereas the 60CSx is time tested, from its fast acquisition of sattelite signal to longlasting battery life. Screen display is viewable in any condition and way cheaper than the MSRP of $549.00 for Oregon 400t. I got my 60CSx for only $279 shipped. So it's no brainer the older but more realiable garmin model is the winner for me.

How long do my orchids last? These are some long lasting orchids that still survives in my garden. This beautiful and elegant bunch of orchids whose color has lightened and faded a bit and this the last surviving orchid of its lot has been around since early October making it 5 months old!! Even I am amazed!

After many years of robust service in the Joseph household, the bush, construction sites, four wheel driving, and tramping in New Zealand, it is sad to announce the passing of the twins.
They pass on to meet up with 2 pairs of bags and one pair of hot bags that have gone before them to Rohan heaven.
They are survived by Olfio Sweater (b. 1985) - semi retired; Pampas Jacket (b. 1985) - Still going strong; a heavy winter fleece jacket "Fred" (b. 1987) and Warm Pants (b. 2002).
Recent additions to the Rohan family are three pairs of bags, 2 pairs of shorts and a fleece sweater (all b.2008).

This shows the windows before the installation of the mesh that will be installed in place of the glass. As a consolidated ruin, the materials have been carefully chosen - and the paint finish for the windows is a metallic paint that should be longlasting.

In such construction, infill panels with a coating of lime plaster were followed with a coat of limewash providing protection. Unlike cement-based materials, lime produces soft textures, offers flexibility, and being porous allows such old walls to breathe and shed moisture. Lime kilns were once a common sight in villages and were used to burn limestone, chalks, or seashells to form quicklime which was then slaked with water. Colours were obtained from pigments, often oxides from natural earths.
The textures and colours of the vernacular architecture of buildings display longlasting vibrancy. Lavenham has an impressive number of Listed buildings — there are more than 300 — and we wander down Lady St, Shilling and Prentice Streets, Barn St, southern High St, Hall Rd, Church St and so on. An ongoing sequence of character, time and place becomes revealed.
