The title says it all, it is a knitted cozy for the beloved electronics in our lives! It is even personalized with your initial! Or in the case of one of my examples, "m" stands for mom. This is my Mother's Day gift to her, iphone included. :) This is a perfect little gift for everyone, I would say especially for the gadget head in your life. Therefore I'll be knitting the next one for my husband. The reverse single crochet edging is not only decorative but it adds a secure ribbing for longlasting use (or abuse). Pick any base color plus a contrasting color, then convo me.
A bicyles was piled & buries with the different kinds of fallen leaves at the corner somewhere at the street, are the methphor of people were attacked & influenced by the mass information day by day, which may be nutriuos or polluted, we need to know how to handle all these and ourselves grow strong & simple.
There are more and more natural disasters occured at all aspects from the climates down to earthquakes in recent years, which become the warn sign to people all over the world. Some of them are due to human bening's industries revolution & over consumption issue in life for the centuries, which brought us the pollution from the air till our mind in depth. The environment we lives in physical and we think in mind was polluted more or more. All kinds of words, sound, symbols related to the racial, the gender , the social status, and the country discrimination etc we created annoyed our soul & mind and caused more or more wars conflict from the people around the the world. All kinds of the air, water, food pollutions from all kinds of electronic & medical industries & instruments bring huge impact to our life & enfluence to our health.
Here I try to utilze & combine some different elements such as the leaves, the flowers, the sky, the mountain, the fog , rain & wind from the nature, and the railway station, the light, graffitti from the artifical world , and create the image which like the symbol or metaphor about what we breathe, we listen, we saw and we live together now in daily life .
With all these messy stuffs we got from the life and the world day by day , and it become the disturbance to our mind , and hard to seek the beauty of the clarity & the simplicity of the world we live and the mind we used to own. Let's try our best not only decrease the air pollution from the nature, but also simpify ourself from thoughts to mind if posssible from now on . And hope we can enjoy the happiness of simplicity & keep the longlasting of earth moving forwards.

This is my first real HDR image, since this is the first I really knew what I was doing instead of just clicking ok. 3 RAW images to HDR using qtpfsgui and then edited on Gimp for color corrections and minor fixes.

Before you scream "bloody murder" - let me explain.
This is Tessa' s new antler chew that came in the mail - they are really great chews, no odors, no residue, no splinters, longlasting and full of nutrients. Antlers are shed every winter and if I ever were so lucky I would find one in the woods before the other critters take it away (much coveted). Well, those of you who know me know I have no such luck, so I order them through the world wide web.
This one though is still half alive, bleeding out of one end, and I can't figure out why that is. I assume this is the end near the base (pedicle) it grew out of, but I don't know for sure. While certainly Tessa will love it, the dilemma now is, that it will create quite a mess which was not the idea, so I am researching on how to proceed.
I am not easily grossed out but this is ... gross!

Found on a meadow close to mountain needlewood, ca. 1300 m of altitude. Growing in clumps directly from the grass, no trees anywhere close on that meadow.
Atypical for mushrooms, they are extremely longlasting - maybe around 3 weeks in real good state!

It seems there are different implication of Dragon at Eastern & Western legend , in Chinese culture, Dragon is the symbol of royal , luckiness , blessings & power etc, all in all are positive meaning , therefore the emperors of ancient Chinese dynasty normally used the dragon to describe himself. The clothes, chair of Emperor will use the dragon as the key role in the pattern, same applied to the temple, means to bless the people within the dynasty.
