Photo of log room. We had gas logs installed. Very peaceful, cozy room. This room is the front entrance.
Around the bend in the wooded area of Bushman Park is this pond. This is a closeup of it, which I really liked. It's a rather moody, and semi-colorful area.
I uploaded a version of this before, so it may seem familiar, but I re-edited it out of my "Holding Pen" set. I've been depositing unedited photod from my computer on there so I can clear my hard drive. I will edit most of them here with Picnik, and those I want to play around more with on another program, I will eventually put back on my computer at a later time. My priority now has been to save as many as I can, since the computer is getting older, and is overloaded with pics. that's why I took a bit of a breather from Flickr for a while. I suppose I will have to do it again eventually. thee are many more left on there to clear. Takes FOREVER!!!
I made this log feeder from a pine trunk. I chislelled out a hole at the front for peanuts and stapled wire in front. I drilled a hole down from the top to fill this section. I drilled two holes in the side to pack with fat.
as you can see the skidder can move itsself on the logs it rests on. The loggers hook a line around a tree or stump and reel it in, moving the skidder closer so it can load more logs
The road was completely impassable for the trucks because of the mud. Luckily, we made it in and out because of our exceptional driver and the 4*4.
