Taken during the height of the 2009 spring flood. The Skeena River is quite fast and very swollen, and this log jam could break apart any second. Some of you may be thinking that a person would have to be crazy to be standing here taking pictures. Yeah, guilty as charged!
hard to take cause they went down so fast. If you look carefully u can see a ride in the background. That is soooo scary!

These kind of dead trees always remind me of huge bones lying out on the heath. they were catching the dying evening light really well, but I'm not sure I've done them justice...
