Once the tanks were out and the wall removed we could see down into the rest of the roof space and trap the mice which started this whole exercise.

The loft is surrounded on 3 sides with glass rail to overlook the living room. The home is heated with underfloor heating throughout, with "air curtains" along the perimeter to eliminate any fogging of the windows.

This project is situated next to a vacant lot and adjacent to the train tracks, so I tried to use those elements in the composition. I would have preferred to have a car going into or coming out of the garage at the same time, and perhaps a few people in the shot. But I couldn't stage this because I was just there for a minute. Camera propped on my knee for this shot.
