The cannonball tree (Couroupita guianensis), loaded with flowers and fruit, exhibits an extreme form of cauliflory, called flagelliflory.
Even this old door lock was still coated in dry mud that has been leftover from the Great Brisbane Flood of early 2011

Playing around with the Lens baby spark. I like the effect it gives but it is so hard to hit the focus.
An illustration I did earlier in the year for an article in a school publication about door lock safety in schools. Includes some touch-ups and recoloring.
The 2Y60 1032 Morecambe to Leeds with 158868 in charge crosses the river Aire at Gargrave.
The image was taken on the opposite bank at a lock on the Leeds to Liverpool canal.
This canal is another fascinating piece of industrial history in this area.
Note: I have deliberately toned down the colours of this image as I feel it suits the atmosphere on this dull winter day . 13-12-24.

I'd hoped to take some pictures in the Conservatory, but it was closed when it got there--so I improvised.
This is right up the street from my kolej, on prague's band building. I hear them practicing from time to time. I walk by this every day and have always wanted to take a photo, finally did it. It amazes me how much the bars around this place are rusted. The older they get, the more layers time tries to peel off.
Haven't really uploaded anything recently, been very busy with finals and papers, etc...But the end of Prague is around the corner for me, 3 more days- I know I'll miss this place but I'm extremely excited to get back home. Especially looking forward to seeing someone special.
As I said, I'm going to start a 365 upon getting home. Right now I have an intense sunburn so maybe I'll take a day or two to rest before starting :) I'm debating whether to put the 365 it on a new account and keep these separate, but I'll probably be lazy and keep it all together!
