A quiet Bullring with the Christmas lights up.
Due to the pandemic, no market here or Snow Dome, so the Bullring has put up the usual Christmas lights and artificial Christmas tree.

I don't know what the weather is like in the rest of the country today, but here on the South coast it's very wet and windy.
There was a brief window in the weather so went out for a short walk, and some shots, just about managing to hold the camera still.
This massive yacht has moored up on the Quay, I googled it, it's a 203 foot Hoek schooner. I assume it's taken shelter because of the bad weather.

An afternoon walk on the Stratford Road in Shirley on the last Sunday of the 2nd lockdown.
So non essential shops are still closed for another few days, before we go into Tier 3.
The ex Morrisons store (Safeway before that).
There has been a proposal to demolish it and build another retirement village here. I say enough is enough. Shirley doesn't need any more unwanted retirement homes.
The town already has enough coming to completion (or already completed).
Colmore BID Christmas lights on lampposts in Cathedral Square.
They seem to look good in daylight and after dark.
Been a long time since there was any Christmas lights around Birmingham Cathedral.
But no markets this year, due to the pandemic / restrictions, so something to cheer people up after a hard year.
Hardly been out on the 2nd lockdown with the return of the "Stay at Home" message. So if I walk, just the local area, and not out every day.

Was recent renovations to the right of the building, and you can hardly tell they did anything to it.
Meanwhile there is overnight roadworks on the Stratford Road overnight during November 2020.

But pubs and restaurants will remain closed, apart from take away only (including cafes and coffee shops).
It will hit hospitality hard in the run up to Christmas.

It will be getting a pink wrap design while it is hidden.

Heading down Longmore Road from Marshall Lake Road and back to the Stratford Road.

Probably to cheer themselves up after a hard pandemic year.
