As the city has been instructed to get the pandemic under control by September 15th, 2021, citizens here are experiencing the strictest lockdown since the start of COVID-19 - following Directive 16 with tighter restrictions and measurements. The full lockdown in Ho Chi Minh started on August 23rd, 2021, and is expected to last for 2 weeks.

A series of images created in the garden whilst negotiating lockdown, and isolation moves through Spring.
Another park on lockdown that I found on Google Maps. Ended up going in the car there and had a 20 minute walk around.
Olton Jubilee Park opened in the 1930s.
Originally called the Olton Recreation Ground it opened in 1935 in the Silver Jubilee year of King George V.
The park is located between Lyndon Road, Ulleries Road and Brackleys Way.
The Hatchford Brook flows through the park.
There is also the Solihull BMX Pump Track and a Play Area (closed during the pandemic).
There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.
We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us.
The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.
The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.
I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.

During lockdown I decided to dig out my camera and take it out with me on some of my daily walks. Lost a lot of motivation over the last few months but finally getting it back, slowly but surely. Lockdown has definitely helped me just get out and shot anything and everything.
