The 2020 spring lockdown saw us make many more very local walks, thus catching these fellas in the evening sun.
Kiev 88CM and expired (1991) ORWO Color negative NC-19 roll film, shot this at 20 iso then developed in the correct ORWO color C5168 processing kit, the chemicals expiry date was 13/11/90 but still seemed to work.
Being a keen cyclist with more time and good weather, it has been a case of only snapping the odd bus with my iphone whilst out enjoying my government mandated exercise during the Covid lockdown. However, I have captured a few of the odd vehicle movements as operators used the most fuel efficient vehicles or those best suited to applying social distancing.
Wells depot received a completely different fleet with dual door e400mmcs arriving from Bath for the 376, whilst the 172-4 corridor received shorter, single door versions from Lawrence Hill depot. 33953 SN65ZCE is seen in Westfield in Radstock on an evening service back to Wells on May 9th 2020.
Whilst we've come to the end of Lockdown 2 we still have a few left over cartoons, so we'll just add them, then let you get on and prepare for Christmas.
This one may or may not be based on my personal experience some 45+ years ago... but my wife and I have been married for over 44 years. I'll let you decide...
I’m feeling kind of awkward
And I’m feeling kind of shy
There’s a really lovely lass at work
Who’s rather caught my eye
I’m not sure if she’s noticed me
She probably has not
She’s rather, sort of, ‘out my league’
If she’s seen me, she’s forgot
I wonder should I say “Hello”?
But what if she is cross?
Perhaps I won’t say anything
But then my chance is lost…
Alright, I’m gonna talk to her
Perhaps not just today
She’s probably quite busy
Yes, I think I’ll stay away
Oh I wish I were courageous
I’d just walk up and say
“Hello there, how are you?”
“How are things today?”
This is really not productive
I’m wasting hours and hours
But I really Am quite nervous
I know, I’ll get her flowers!
Now it’s one week later
And I’ve asked her out!
Guess what? She looked at me and said
“I’d like that!” with a pout
So I’m really, really happy
She said she’d noticed me
But was too shy to say hello
In case I tried to flee!
PS She’s asked me to meet her Mum and Dad on Saturday!

Was tun während des Lockdowns? %$§/# Corona!
As we become slightly more impatient about the Lockdown, Mother Nature decides to add to our woes ... It's pouring here! ... it was enough just to dash outside to capture todays image and dash back in! ... Me and the GR are soaked! 😷
One of the many United Airline jets in corona virus lockdown at Terminal D, Cleveland-Hopkins Airport.
The Downsizing Police on the roof tops on the look-out for panic buyers and curfew breakers. From fairies at the bottom of your garden to 'the borrowers' we are obsessed with the fantasy of little people in a full-sized world. My 'downsizing' project, using model railway figures, food and everyday objects, is merely an
extension of those thoughts.
As we start another Lockdown, a few of you have asked if we can have another 'Inktober ' style poem. Your wish is my command etc and here it is, along with Andrea's drawing of everyone running for cover!
