In the early hours of the 23rd of January, the district of Yau Tsim Mong was placed under lockdown. Only those who have been tested negative are able to leave.
I drove by the area and snapped this. Just before dawn. It was very lively despite the early hours of the day.
Being a keen cyclist with more time and good weather, it has been a case of only snapping the odd bus with my iphone whilst out enjoying my government mandated exercise during the Covid lockdown. However, I have captured a few of the odd vehicle movements as operators used the most fuel efficient vehicles or those best suited to applying social distancing.
Seen at Wells depot on May 16th 2020 are a pair of vehicles showing the measures that have been taken. First Volvo B9TL 37771 WX09KCK was SORN-ed by First when services were reduced and the least fuel efficient vehicles were deemed surplus. Instead, less thirsty e400mmcs were released temporarily from Bristol such as 33953 SN65ZCE, seen here looking smart in the sun.
Had to go to the Doctor today, not for corona, just a regular appointment, so don·t worry. Pictures taken from inside the bus. It is a ghost town, very sad.
Robin on a gravestone. Came to give us a look. There was a sparrowhawk, chiff chaff, green finch, nuthatches etc in the pleasnat green oasis that is the local cemetery. There were also more people in there than usual, (including sunbathers!) but still fewer than in the park.
Thought I'd challenge myself to some macro photography during lockdown and whilst the hibiscus flowers are still looking so stunning in the garden.

The 2020 spring lockdown saw us make many more very local walks, thus catching these fellas in the evening sun.
DRS 88009 is pictured on the Southern end of the East Suffolk Line at Tuddenham with 6M69 from Sizewell to Crewe. This was the first visit of a class 88 to the East Suffolk Line. The unusual use of an empty flask wagon on these infrequent route proving runs to Sizewell was a most welcome sight!!
As this location was within walking distance, I combined it with my daily exercise during the "lockdown" period. It is unfortunately the only shot I've been able to take over the past few weeks.
