Three Small Blue butterflies - two were mating, while two others were flying around for several minutes apparently trying to join the fun!
The Small Blue is the UK's smallest butterfly and a real delight to find it locally to me. They rely on having kidney vetch flowers on which they lay their eggs. These fields have been rewilded with lots of wild flowers sown over the last couple of years, resulting in some unusual butterflies including Small Blue, Small Heath and Small Skipper (all the small ones!).

Boardman Local Schools 44 - 2008 Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF; Bus Yard - Boardman, Ohio. One of five originally-ordered 2008 models in the fleet. One of the three 77 passenger versions. One of my best friends use to drive this bus for several years before becoming the secretary for the transportation department.

Leicaflex SL (circa. 1972) with 35mm Elmarit R (11231) (2nd optical version). Arista Premium 400 (rebranded Kodak tri-x). Nikon 9000 scanner.
We took a little photo adventure to a local cemetery down the street. I grabbed a Leica M5 rangefinder, and of course the Leicaflex, and Mary had some digital thing. I got about two snaps off before she ditched her dinky camera and grabbed the Leicaflex out of my hands. Fortunately she doesn't like rangefinders; so I had the M5 all to myself. These are the pictures I shot on the Leicaflex before Ms. Digital ... well, you know.
The Red Box came to my local 7-11 several months ago and for a buck compared to 5 at the Blockbuster chain ya can`t go wrong. Obviously the selection isn`t as big and you have to know your movies too, no boxes to read to see what the heck the movie is actually about!
*Don`t even think of taking a milk crate for your stuff either, NY has all kinds of cameras watching you everywhere you go... SMILE! :)

Union Pacific's LOA53 local departs the west end of the Ozol Yard at Howard just outside of Martinez, CA enroute to Oakland. SD70Ms No. 4234 and No. 5188 provide the power for this train. This is definitely one of my more unique videos as this spot would normally be considered trespassing, but I was here on work duty for Renzenberger.
DISCLAIMER: No, I was not trespassing here. This was during my Renzenberger shift and I had just delivered the crew of this train to the power and they directed me down this dirt path along the mainline so they could reach the head end. I was also in constant contact with CP Bridge to make sure I was aware of any other trains in the area on the mainline.
I took this picture a couple of weeks ago and wasn't going to post it. But when I looked at several other bunny pictures, I saw that this one was a little different from the other ones I had been seeing....so here it is.
SEIU Local 99's 5th Annual Family Picnic
Cafeteria Workers, Custodians, Bus Drivers, Special Education Assistants, and other members of SEIU Local 99 today announced the launch of a new program in LAUSD schools called OASIS - Optimizing Access to Services, Inspiring Success. OASIS will bring city, county, and private services directly to struggling working families and students in their neighborhood schools. The program gained a boost from the City of Los Angeles as Council Members approved a plan to work with OASIS to improve the coordination and delivery of city services to families in LAUSD schools.

Our local restaurant has just had Peroni draft put in and during a little photo shoot this afternoon I took a couple of shots mainly for the condensation on the pump.
Unfortunately as the designated driver I've not really had a chance to try it yet (besides a sip!).
