Na het extra klusje voor Railexperts / Centralbahn werd de 186 381 in Emmerich opgesteld. Enkele uren later had de loc haar volgende inzet: graantrein 42782 vanuit Emmerich naar de Europoort rijden. Bij Haaften kon de gekleurde trein onder heerlijke omstandigheden gefotografeerd worden op 8 november 2019
Twee locs uit de serie 151 waren op 18 september 2004 met een ertstrein onderweg richting Oostenrijk en passeren op de foto te Laaber.
151 101 war am 18. September 2004 mit einer Schwesterlok und einem Erzzug gen Österreich unterwegs und konnte in der langen Kurve bei Laaber fotografiert werden.

2TE116UM loc with a northbound container train through the Tunkh's autumn valley. Sometimes, scattered and fastly moving clouds gives me fantastic light and luck! I didn't expect any good result minute before the train is coming, because there were too much cloud shadows on the ground 😁

In het kader van de ‘Week van de Lingerie’ reden de locs 1202 van het NSM en de 1501 van Werkgroep 1501 eind oktober / begin november 2001 een week lang met een speciale trein door het land. Op deze foto de 1501 met trein 80380 ‘lingerie-express’ te Eindhoven op 30 oktober 2001.

Een Regional Express - geduwd door een loc uit de serie 111 - reed op 3 juni 2004 over de brug over de Aller te Verden.
Inmiddels is deze foto helaas niet meer mogelijk. De nieuw brug heeft een hoge rand die geen blik meer op het spoor biedt.

Van de normaal in Nederland niet goed voor de zonstand rijdende NightJet-treinen, zijn dus alleen goede zonfoto's te maken bij omleidingen en flinke vertraging.
Op 3 maart 2026 waren Matthijs en ik op pad naar Terschuur om daar de Rail Force One Silowagentrein naar Polen vast te leggen. Loc van dienst was de in december 2025 ter gelegenheid van het 95 jarig bestaan van de NVBS*, bestickerde 1831. Na vijf pogingen om deze loc in zijn nieuwe outfit fatsoenlijk voor de lens te krijgen, die dus alle vijf mislukten door irritante factoren of niet naar tevredenheid waren, moest het vandaag toch eens een keer goed gaan. Een strakblauwe lucht, de 1831 die met zijn fraaie wagens keurig op tijd vanaf de Kijfhoek was vertrokken en wij die ook ruim op tijd onderweg waren. Wat kon ons nu nog gebeuren? Er zijn in onze hobby nog genoeg factoren denkbaar die roet in het eten kunnen gooien. Één daarvan overkwam ons vandaag, onderweg werd de route van de trein verlegd via Utrecht en Arnhem in plaats van Amersfoort! Helaas krijgen we dit net te laat door en vanwege divers oponthoud onderweg, zouden we 7 minuten te laat bij een fotostek op de lijn Utrecht-Arnhem aankomen. Verder naar het oosten rijden had voor ons ook geen zin, want er moest later die dag ook nog gewerkt worden. Hiermee kon poging 6 ook als mislukt in de boeken en moesten we wat anders bedenken.
Helaas bleek het met andere goederentreinen rond Amersfoort extreem rustig te zijn. Gelukkig bleek NightJet 420 uit Wenen en Innsbruck vandaag met 157 minuten vertraging op de teller te rijden! En dat betekende dat deze goed voor de zon langs de Amersfoortse Koppelpoort zou rijden, een locatie die we met twee vingers in de neus nog konden halen.
En zo zien we de NS International Vectron 193 931 met twee ÖBB NightJet-stammen als NJ 420 vanuit Wenen het viaduct bij de Amersfoortse Koppelpoort op rijden, onderweg naar zijn eindbestemming Amsterdam Centraal.

Door een kort aan locs heeft ÖBB een aantal Vectrons van SBB Cargo gehuurd voor langere periode. De gehuurde locs bestaat uit de batch Railpool en XLoad Vectrons.
SBB Cargo 193 454, door ÖBB gehuurd, met containertrein uit Waalhaven-Zuid naar het Oostenrijkse Linz, beklimt de berg in Venlo.

Deutz-loc V11 vertrekt met twee rolwagens beladen met normaalspoor goederenwagens van het museumstation Schierwaldenrath in de richting van Birgden. De V11 heeft een bijzondere historie, de loc werd in 1955 gebouwd en deed een tijd dienst bij de Geilenkircher Kleinbahn (GKB). Nadat het vevroer op lokaalspoorlijnen in elkaar stortte werden de V10 en V11 verkocht aan Togo (Afrika), hier waren ze slechts korte tijd actief. Na jaren van stilstand en roest werd de Deutz in 2001 teruggehaald naar de Selfkant. Na een grondige revisie ziet de loc er weer prachtig uit en kan nog vele jaren mee. Voor het broertje van de V11, de V10, is het slechter afgelopen, deze werd als golfbreker in zee gedumpt. 14-8-2022.
