Tijdens het hemelvaart weekend van 2023 was er bij de SGB het jaarlijkse festival "Sporen naar het verleden." Zoals gebruikelijk waren er weer een aantal gastlocomotieven aanwezig.

 

Van de SHM was loc 5 als gast stoomlocomotief aanwezig, ze mocht een van de reizigerstreinen trekken naar Hoedekenskerke.

Al jaren roept men dat de loc's reeks 1600 bij DB Cargo hun werkzame bestaan gaan verliezen en met de onlangs in Nederland geziene nieuwe Vectron's lijkt dit moment echt aanstaande.

 

Voorlopig is op werkdagen vrijwel standaard een 1600 te zien voor de UnitCargo treinen tussen Vlissingen Sloe en Kijfhoek. Buiten dat feit rijden de treinen ook nog vrijwel altijd op tijd en lift er regelmatig ook een andere loc mee, of zelfs meerderen.

 

Op 7 maart 2018 is het de 189 100 die in opzending meegaat achter de DBC 1615 met verder aanvoertrein 61071 op weg naar het Zeeuwse. De trein kent wisselende samenstellingen maar bestond ditmaal uit alleen gasketelwagens.

 

Stipt op tijd passeert de trein de enige fotograaf aan de Fianestraat in Bergen op Zoom die eigenlijk wachtte op de RRF hommel die op circa 10 minuten afstand achter deze trein reed. Deze foto heb ik eerder al geplaatst.
