During the whole day, they were this loading lifts stacking those heavy freight crates. Their drivers worked really fast and accurately.

A day of Amusement was anything but, I wanted to be off the bus, out of the park and in bed nursing my cold. I spent less that $20 at the park and all of it was on food. Here is the journaling: As exciting as it was to go with Emily and see them perform at and win double trophies with the Orchestra, I was sick when I left on this trip and I am sicker now. It was not a day I enjoyed, but I will enjoy the memories of the double carousel and posing in front of the bear, and the win. As I get older, amusement parks are not as much fun for my dollar.

Setting up the day's 5 bands, all on the stage so it can be moved or quickly carried to the back for load out after each performance.

Loading on oil at the dock in Fremantle

This is what I'm surrounded with - unscraped pictures of my daughter and I really want to get some done while I have the time and energy (it's been a while since I have scrapped, so LOAD has been well worth the $$$). Anyway, I loved today's prompt and all the layouts in the gallery, so took some pictures to give the prompt a go another day. I love this layout.

Here is the next page from the Disney '06 book.

This one was a little hard for me to write. If you read it, you will understand why. I love to write, so that wasn't the issue. It was the topic. It breaks my heart to think about this little girl. I get a lump in my throat. However, I had to tell the story because it really did make an impact on my husband and me. And I needed to get it out quickly. Pretty much what I typed is what you see. I just couldn't bear doing much editing. The other thing I had to consider as a writer was that this is our DISNEY album. I didn't want to make the story too depressing.

("Chickie" who I mention in the story was my husband's dear grandmother.)

You can't read the text very well. Here it is:

Sometimes you just end up in the right place at the right time... for a reason. Pat and I had the afternoon to ourselves at MGM (and later headed to Epcot). We saw Mickey and Minnie posing for pictures and we couldn't resist waiting in line to meet them. While we stood there, a Disney cast member escorted a small group of people to the front of the line. The little girl in the picture was part of that group. Pat and I both gasped at what we saw - she was a Make-a-Wish child. This organization has always held a special place in our hearts - it was Chickie's favorite charity and we had also adopted it as ours. Looking at this little girl, we were struck with a strange mix of emotions; we were sad that this adorable child was a Wish recipient but we were also happy for her that her wish had come true. It's a strange combination, especially while standing in line to meet two giant mice at the Happiest Place on Earth. But that little girl reminded us, ever so simply and quietly, to be happy and appreicate... well, everything. Even giant mice.

The crew loads rocks onto the push car for transport down the line. The rock was used as fill a washout on the right-of-way. The Fairmount A-6 gang car belongs to the FEDS.

Volunteers from two railways joined forces to clear rocks and improve water drainage in the Tunnel No. 1 cut on the Southern Pacific Placerville Branch rail line. The El Dorado Western Railway and Folsom, El Dorado and Sacramento Historical Railroad Association met just after 10 a.m. at the cut, which is visible from eastbound U.S. 50 at the Red Hawk Parkway exit.

Eri Yamamoto trio - NYC

We drove into the field in the jeep and this came charging after us. We returned to tell everyone how the bull had charged at us only to be laughed out of the place by uncle who informed us that this Bull lacked balls and was in fact a Bullock. We drove up again determined to prove that the fiery red animal charged at us only to have him stand in the field and gawk at us this time........I'm sure my uncle didnt believe us!

I'm trying to make my adventure with LOAD easy, so, i finished this album cover I've started few months ago. I only had the tree down, today, I added the rest.

This album is my journey on weight loss. So in a way I'll be scrapping about stadistics in it. Like how many different work outs, or how many day a week I exercise, etc.

Can you tell the Glossy Accents is not dried yet? :) But I had to take the picture and post it. before going to clean the kitchen... I know, not fun... but if i want to have a clean kitchen tomorrow and have more time to scrap...;)

I am a bit embarrassed to upload this but it's late now and I won't have time to do it again! I've messed up the spraying! The visual triangle is 3 snowflakes but you can't really see the one at the top! I LOVE this photo though! We don't often get snow and here are my favourite beach huts covered in a snowy white blanket!
