More tinkering with my dlw for beginners. It's not programmable in a custom fashion but there are plenty of stock patterns and sequences available. It's fun scrolling through to discover new wonders.
Added a touch of circular lightblade from www.lightpaintingbrushes.com and the divine Ryus Lightworks modded torch.
Jpeg straight out the snappy box.

Abenteuer #Ruhrgebiet - Geleucht auf der Moerser Halde Rheinpreußen. Die Lichtinstallation von dem Künstler Otto Piene ist die Nachbildung einer historischen Davy-Lampe ( Sicherheitsgrubenlampe der Bergleute ) im XXL Format.
Fotoworkshop - Blaue Stunde am #Geleucht in Moers am Niederrhein. Foto vom Workshop in der Abenddämmerung. Am Abend illuminieren 35 Leuchtmasten eine Fläche von ca. 8.000 Quadratmetern der Halde mit rotem Licht. Über der Landmarke steht der Mond im erstes Viertel bei glasklarer winterlicher Luft.

This is my first attempt in camerarotation with tripod swap. In the beginning harder than I thought, because it is a different work than usual. But it's really fun.
First I lit the background with blue gelled torch and a shiny fabric to fill the frame. Then swap tripod to the rectangle plexy shape (orange gelled)by Light Painting Paradise and the V2 Torch on Strobo by Ryu's Lightworks. 8 times camerarotation with 45°. Some adjustments in LR. Finish.

The video was taken in 2014 at The Hong Kong Park. I was learning on how to making video.
They are shot in Panasonic GH3. The on location environment sound is recorded using Rode Video Mic Pro Stereo.
Post production: NLE is Editshare Lightworks. Grading software is Davinci Resolve. The music is Do Not Forget Me (Artist: PrimeSound).

Today a rather large package arrived from America full of lp goodies. I couldn't wait for it to go dark so I could have a play.
This one inspired by the simply stunning work of Chris Searle.
