When walking through the dunes, it is best to stay in the natural valleys. The sand there is firmer and you will not damage the dunes.

The Ocracoke lighthouse is small when compared to the Bodie or Hatteras lights. It is a little short, fat fellow.

Nothing like a day at the beach! Ocracoke has some of the best beaches in the United States.
