Light can be what you want it to be
It can be your intuition
Your best friend
Why not grab it
It's yours to find
It can twist your mind
Take the battle
And you will win
Always
Amen 🙏

I never know where the light will lead me, I just follow and try to capture the scene as it was at that moment. I was not surprised at how light and fog can change a simple road into something from a dream. On this morning the light was darkened by the thick fog creating an eerie world of mystery. I found this small lane off a side road. When the unexpected happens, we must be ready.

Late in the afternoon when the light starts to fall across the desert it reflects off the walls that surround Lake Powell and shines bright on the water. The sky gets its moment also as the blue darkens. It's a momentary splash of color that deepens and fades as night gobbles up the light.

The final minutes of evening sun on the ornamental grass inside the roundabout, ideal for catching the light slanting down the directly west-aligned street.
Just playing with the light here, on a quick trip into Stockport (Cheshire). I would like to have spent more time getting a better shot... the moral of the story being; don't expect to spend time taking photos when you have your family with you!!!
The sun is in the utmost effulgence but the surface turned toward it must be a mirror; the clearer and purer it is, the more light shall be reflected therein."
