This is a photo along one of the new walking paths down at Westport house. The ruins of an old church are on the left. I used the old kerbing as a line. I always like this area with those huge horse chestnuts providing a giant green canopy, esp useful when it rains!
One of the main streets in the light web at night. Photos made in Moscow. building of the XIX century.
Boscombe Pier, taken on a crisp but cold February morning. I love the symmetry of the pier and also how the light changed the colours on either side.

A Light Worker is not someone who ignores the darkness , it's someone who transforms the darkness.

When the light of the day passes, the Cape May Lighthouse guides the weary fisherman back home. What is *your* guiding light when the world gets dark?
Do not go gentle into that good night but
rage, rage against the dying of the light.

wishing all of you a wonderful weekend--

Light rays bathe the lighthouse and four people walking near it.
I captured this image from a mile away, then blended it with some filters available at picmonkey.com

Another capture from our fabulous morning at Derwent water, the mist was backlit beautifully and lit up the path through the woodland nicely

AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVAL - In the old days, blowing dandelion seeds into the air was also done as a superstitious act: the number of seeds that remained signified the number of years you had to wait to get married, how many children you would have with your loved one, or how many years you still had to live. But before we can take a look in the future, we have to wait a little longer for spring.
Ever changing light!
Mornings like this one justify why I sometimes just setup the tripod and stay rooted to the same spot for sometimes over an hour.
Watching the blue hour tones give way to yellows, oranges and reds until the sun rises and shows the natural greens of the countryside and blue from the clear sky!
The rolling mist just adds some lovely atmosphere and mood to the conditions around!
