It seems like the lens itself is reflecting on the ND glass and in the photos you can see the lens! So every photo has a circle in it. It messes every photo up. I was thinking light was leaking in on the top corners, what do you think? I know many people have this setup, what is the fix?
If the corners are the issue, wouldn’t that be a major design flaw?
I'm probably stating the obvious here but a half decent landscape picture does very much depend upon good lighting.
I've seen this view several times and on each occasion it looks different. In the morning, when the light is colder and in the opposite direction, the mountains look mysterious. In the summer, when the sun is high, they look flat.
Yesterday, in the warm light of late afternoon, I think they looked their best.
I only had a narrow window of opportunity because half an hour earlier or later and the scene looked very different.

The 1934-built Japanese Garapan Ligthouse on Saipan's Navy Hill. After World War II it fell into disuse and lay abandoned until conversion to a restaurant in 1990. Unfortunately, the same business closed in 1994, and the light has remained vacant ever since.
It is, however, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
