one Of my best captures of light

first attempt of light painting using film

Just a nice walk thru the tunnel to find some food!

with this type of lighting...all we needed was a disco ball and we could have a dance party inside...what do you think??

A cavalerist of the British light dragoons, from the Napoleonic wars.

I've gone pro!

Had a very experimental photoshoot~

I think next time I will cover the LEDs slightly with paper to prevent the overexposure in the centre where it faced the lens dead on.

Seedlings in a pot. Some day they will be flowers... and I believe these plants will still lean towards the sun.

Night photo walk July 2010

Waking up to interesting light patterns in the Children's Library in Chariton First Baptist Church.

Cultural Center for the Arts; Canton, Ohio

phographed at sunset with a long exposure from a moving car.

Went out yesterday for a very small walk with my newly acquired 40mm Voigtländer for native E-Mount. I love it. All shot without tripod! via 500px ift.tt/2oGp01H

against light shot. Can you feel sunset in this picture?

My first try at light painting, it was a fun experience and I enjoyed exploring the possibilities.

Test shot with Nikon D700 + Carl Zeiss 100mm f/2 Makro Planar T* lens, ZF.2. Shot at f/2.0

This was a trivial experiment to see how the lens printed defocused areas of light. Each successive image below is shot with increasing defocus.

My first test at playing with "painting". Really enjoyed it and decided to try make it a wallpaper type one :)

Mousumi is famous, 2nd photo in 10 hours... :)

The wonderful Mousumi caught in the light.

SOOC. I hate the crop from the camera.

There are a few in comments, couldn't choose.

I think this is the first time in awhile that I have actually posted my 365 for the day on the actual day. I still need to catch up for a few past days but they're coming.

I found a cheap old guitar and I can't play so I replaced the strings with el wire and I hung it on my wall.

Needed a junction box to wire in the thicker wires from the "pigtail" to the thinner wires needed for the light... I just can't believe they don't make fixtures for these lights yet!!

Fixing the wiring for the Dulux 80W lights. After 1,5 years of service, they quit on me. After countless hours of research I finally figured out why. The wiring instructions I had initially received was bad. Hopefully it is all fixed now. New bulbs and wiring in.

October 2nd there was a festival of lights like the Nuit Blanche festival in other cities. Basically a collection of artists creating light displays on a couple of the streets of Greenpoint. For the most part it was a lot of projected images that were not that impressive (to me anyway). This collection of PVC tubing was pretty cool though. It turned out to be one of my favorite pieces and one of my only photos that I ended up liking.

The Light Cinema, Stockport. Designed by BDP Architects and opened in November 2017, The Light contains 10 screens with a total capacity of just over 800 seats. The Redrock development containing the cinemas cost £45million and in August 2018 was announced as one of the five contenders for the Carbuncle Cup - an annual architectural prize for the ugliest building erected in the previous year.
