Riffing on the recent flap about Gina Trapani of Lifehacker creating a blacklist if 'PR spammers,' I pose the question 'what is spam?' Wth social networking taking off in many forms, we receive- and send- tons of unsolicited messages every day. How do I know when you're spamming me, and when I'm sppamming you? I would love to hear your definitions.

Last year I was in a weight loss competition at my work. One of the things I did to burn more calories was to stand for most of the day. So for a while I had a makeshift standing desk of boxes and monitor stands on top of a regular desk. About 6 months ago I came across a lifehacker post (http://mcaf.ee/a8f53) about an adjustable height desk. After reading the post, I did some searching and I was able to find two of these desks.

After that it was just using the built in options to change fonts. Photoshop CS5 was used to make the clouds in a PNG file and the wallpaper was from a post on Lifehacker.com. You can flickr mail me if you want the shell scripts or resources.
