Today's quote is from The Religion of God by His Divine Eminence RA Gohar Shahi. 'Platonic love concerns itself to the heart.'
Kendi and mom each picked different colors from a huge box of Crayola markers to draw a rainbow, then we compared our rainbows.

As a family we're learning to regrow what we eat from either the seeds, clippings, etc. Here are a few of our regrown plants. The tall, green, potted plant is an avocado and won't be edible since we don't have the appropriate weather in this region to grow avocados, but the seed can grow into a huge and hearty plant. In the burlap sacks there are two ginger roots and one tumeric.

“To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest”
Lost my way for a short time because the path looked like it had ended, when in fact it just went around the corner. Should have looked up because the trees made an X to mark the spot. I think there is a life lesson in here somewhere. My take is in which wooden tree will I put my trust ?
After a while you learn the subtle differences
between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
and you learn that love doesn't mean leaning
and company doesn't mean security...
and you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises.
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head held up and your eyes open,
with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child.
and you learn to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain to plan,
after a while you learn even sunshine burns
if you get too much!
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers,
And you learn that you really can endure...
that you really are strong, and you really have worth!!
Three summers in the Coke Ovens at Lake Erie Steel in Port Dover, Ontario, Canada put me through art school. The most valuable education I had.
Here is the first of my Tarot card set "The Hanged Man" with a very rough draft of what I would include with the card. Comments, suggestions (no flaming) welcomed. (I do know it needs to be edited grammar wise.)
The Hanged Man:
If you pull this card then perhaps you are hung up somewhere in your life's journey and are having problems making decisions. Everyone run's into road blocks from time to time in their life's journey and sometimes they get hung up and just can't seem to move forward. They either seem to be afraid to make decisions or they aren't able to see the path before them clearly. The Hanged Man is telling you to take a moment and breathe. Look at where you are now, what life is offering you. Where you have been recently and what you maybe stumbling over from the past which is keeping you from moving forward. Perhaps it is time to let go of the past (it is called the past for a reason). No matter what the road block is - hang man is saying it is time to review then break free of what it is that stopping you dead in your tracks and take up the courage to move on into the future.
If you find someone is pulling your strings from where you are hanging - don't be afraid to snap those strings loose and take a leap to independence road.
