Too much whiskey: I have a problem.
No more whiskey: I have a different problem.
So much whiskey: I have NO problem.
this is apart of a set of pictures created of life lessons I've learned over the last year....
#4) I had been dealing with some issues personally that only a few people knew about. one of these people had dealt with a very similar problem, which had brought them closer to the Lord because they were forced to only rely on Him for the solution to the problem.... after we had talked for a little while, they had an encouraging idea for me:
"Write 'Trust Me' on a sticky note. put it on your desk where you can see it, or your ceiling above your bed or something, so that you're constantly visually reminded to trust the Father. seriously, I have 5 of those in my dorm at present
one on my ceiling, one on my desk, one on my door, one on my bathroom mirror, and one on the inside of my laptop. it's so annoying but I have the worst time trusting God, but I've gotten SO much better since I started doing that..."
so I did. I started keeping these notes on my wall, on my desk, and on my bedroom door. I even changed one of my passwords to "TrustMe" (it's no longer one of my passwords, so don't think I'm stupid enough to post my password for yall).
she was right. it is hard. I'm a doer. I have to be doing something to make things better at all times... but lately every time I try to stick my hands into the works, it only blows up in my face. I find myself so much better off completely trusting God to give me the answers and fix my problems.
I still very often try to do it on my own, but find myself being told by Him:
Trust Me.
Kids growing up today are subject to much more then they need, from violent television shows to the convenience of divorce because it's the easy way out, Yes I know sometimes divorce is the better of two evils but don't use children to serve your needs. Once you have children your only need should be to raise the best possible children you can. As an adult and parent you are not only responsible for raising your children to be the best they can be but you also need to guide the children in your neighborhood. I am not saying you need to punish other peoples children but maybe alert their parents to their misdoings. As a parent I would be pissed off if my neighbor didn't try to correct my child's bad behavior or bring it to my attention so I can fix his behavior and actions.
With out the proper guidance your child will go from a bottle of baby formula to drugs and alcohol before you have a chance to correct them.
You can spend all your free time with your kids teaching them and it's still not enough.
You only get one chance to raise your children so please do it right.
"the only thing wasted in this picture was expired baby formula"

#Thought Of The Moment:
I thought when people lie to me their pants were supposed to catch on fire.
Turns out that's a lie also. Trust....no....one
