A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.
As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.
”I love it”, he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
“Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room, just wait...”
“That doesn't have anything to do with it”, he replied, “Happiness is something you decide on head of time, whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged... it's how I arrange my mind, I already decided to love it... It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up, I have a choice... I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do...”

I received this wonderful story from my dear friends Ron and Roby, something we should all remember and take it as principles of life, so I though I should start with it my new project.... Life is Beautiful ♥
Finally I’ve finished reorganizing my photos and profile, and cleaning the mess in my sets !! :D
And what I found ?
An ocean of lovely wonderful precious memories, I stopped on each photo I remember having beautiful words in it (that’s why it took me too long time !! :D ) ... a lot of emotions, laughs, love, noble friendship feelings we shared, care, support, advices... blushing moments !! :)) ... memories of all the great friends, old and new, that make a big difference in my daily life... and believe me if I say ..... I shed tears :)
I always go back to old photos to read again your comments, as I said before, I like to bring these memories back again to me from time to time .... well, everyday lets say !! :D
That’s why I’m always smiling :)

The rant-
I think there's beauty in the simplest things. I'm so easily distracted because of this. Often I catch myself just staring at, ya know, a single star or casually enjoying a simple breeze. . . maybe even too much haha! Infinitely curious and even more devious, my mind just takes random strolls to through the enlightened streets of observation. What would the world be like if we all found as much excitement from the dimmest star :)

Ok, this is a long description, if you don’t have time now, no problem come back later :)
The Underwater Gang
Lemon Juice: the gang leader, rich history of crimes, misbehaviors, and messing the orders, tried twice to jump from the water, first when the pool was broken so I had to buy a new pool so I put them in bowl, she jumped from the bowl thinking that there is a bigger water space at the other side, she had a rescue operation by me, but she repeated the action again and tried to jump from the pool when I tried to catch her, always wake me up by ringing on the thermometer several times until I get up !!!
Icecream: the crazy, the naughty, the plants killer, the hungry all the time... never can be caught !!!... stays awake so late at night, digging and searching between the rocks making a cracking sound that wake me up too, the first one to the surface at the food time, chases the others after the food is gone, when I bought new plants for them, they were eaten in less than two days !!!
Anuz: the plans organizer, knows the exact time of my waking up in the morning and returning from work in the evening, always ready for celebrating my coming “home” (home = their pool !!), when she sees me she begins to shake all her body and specially her tail very fast, warning the others that I came back, in the morning she is the first one in line waiting for me to wake up, although I cover their pool with a cloth, but she takes a peek look from a small hole and give the sign to the others when I make any little move, by shaking !!!... she’s like a small ballerina !!!
Strawberry: the wiser, can be caught easily, but she’s also a thermometer ringer !!... she always likes to stay around my hand to discover what I’m doing when I fix some things in the pool, she likes to sleep beside me !!!!.... no I’m not kidding, when I get back home at irregular time, she gets surprised and looks at me not believing that I come at this early time, so she follows me until I lay down on the bed, she chooses a very close point to me on the ground of the pool and begins yawning and sleep !!!
Cacao Beans: the biter, the smallest, so she always makes her view points by biting !!!... whenever I put my hand in the pool, she’s the first around my hand and begins to bite it from any point she can reach, as she has a small body and huge eyes that can’t see straight by them, she can’t be fast in eating while I put the food for them, as the other gangsters eat it all in seconds, so she makes her position by following them and bite them !!... and if they dare and get close to her special corner, she bites them also !!... so I give her a special treatment and make sure she eats enough before I leave !!!... she sleeps early like a baby !!
Common behaviors: cracking the stones all the night, gurgling all the night, they get so crazy and mad when they see me getting dressed to leave for work, jump over each other trying deadly to reach to me, so I give them the second breakfast to calm them down and then run away fast !!! … no I'm not kidding about this either !!!
Investigation:
How do you know when I sleep ?
How do you know when I wake up, although you can’t see me from under the cover ?
How do you know when I get back from work, also before you actually see me ?
How do you know that I’m leaving when I get dressed for work ?
How do you know that ringing the thermometer wake me up ?
How can you recognize me, while you get afraid from the others ?
How do you know that when I lay down on the bed means that I want to sleep and “don’t disturb” ?
And the only answer I get is opened mouths asking for more food !!!!!!
So what do you think Juries, what should the judgment be ???
About the photo: I tried many times with different settings to take a perfect shot, but it’s either so dark, or so hazy, any help with that for better shot ? :)
and about why it's blue, because the lamp is so deep blue !!!! :D

This is a ground cover that grows wild in my garden. I love it but I do agree with Peter that it gets out of hand. He wants to pull it all out, but I won't let him LOL. We just try to keep it under control.
Kila takes my breath away.......she reminds me everyday to find the joy and happiness in life.....it is not easy....then she looks at me as if to say...."I didn't say it was easy..."

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do.
