Emotional roller coaster. That should be my slogan for June. There are some aspects of my life that is wonderful and amazing.. then there's others that are beginning to chill me to my core. I'm finding that my family is falling apart. Everything that I thought I knew is no longer true. People who I thought were there for me are starting to leave. The emotions that come along with the abandonment of a person who carries the same blood is beyond damaging. I sit here, alone, severed from the people who are supposed to be my closest relations. I have become so numb to everything, to everyone. I can not, want not, reignite relationships that have been so damaging, so crippling to my emotional soul. There are some bonds that cannot survive the meddling and false accusations of a third party, but once the choice has been made to relinquish decades of close bonds, the damage has begun and there's no turning back.
Today I mourn the death of my family.

Early in the morning, windy and sunny day, I was taking pictures of a Great Heron when suddenly, this Song Sparrow came in front of the camera and started to sing his beautiful and powerful melody. I love the blur created by the movements of plants.
