My Moo Minicards carrying container. I went with the Starbucks chewing gum tin for a carrying case. Although I had to cut a piece off to make it easier to slide the cards in and out.

Amazing, compartents for my coffee cup, moleskine, ipod headphones and iPod. What you can't see, mouse in the other side pocket and iPod data cable in the second open pocket behind the headphones.

Written upside down on the back side of the last page of every plain black notebook I own.

Because I'm that dim.

Stick a Post-it on your ATM, debit, or credit card when going out to a restaurant to make it easier for the waiter/waitress knowing how much on which card. (You know, if you're with a group of people who tend to pay with their card.)

By the way, this one happened to be at California Pizza Kitchen. Good stuff.

This is the Circa Letter size 3x5 Pocket Dock-It available at Levenger 3x5 Pocket Dock-It There are 6 pockets in the front and 6 in the back for holding 3x5 index cards. I'm debating whether to use it for next actions or a quick display of my current goals.

The net was cutting into more useful activities TOO MUCH. Whenever I intended to "just check a few things for 10 minutes" I ended up refreshing Facebook and shit for WHOLE EVENINGS.

I only scoured the entire Internet for a nice lock-yourself-out-of-the-Internet program. I found about three (for Windows at least)... One was reportedly very buggy. Two apparently can be reset by RESTARTING THE COMPUTER. OMFSM, WHAT A HASSLE!!! NOT.

I used "Temptation Blocker" for a while - one of the programs where you just have to do the restart. It didn't stop me well enough, so I got this box and some metal thingies intended for furniture and had an experienced drill-slinger put them together for me. I leave the key at other people's places, or I hide it in a tree on my way to the bus. WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NOW, INTERNET ADDICTION?!?!?!?! :D

I suppose I could break open the box with my hammer, but so far I haven't even fingered said hammer. :)

Stuff I can now do instead of 40000 Facebook-refreshings:

- Zone out

- Daydream

- Eat

- Clean

- Cook

- Read nice books

- Go outside

Eventually I hope to keep myself locked out 5 days a week or so, and finally get my reading and movie-watching almost up to pre-Internet-era levels. :D

UPDATE: I now use the blocking app Freedom instead. It's much better than the box. :D

Having a 12" screen means I can carry my iBook around easily but it also means it is too easy to forget how many things I am running at once (since I almost always have everything full-screen and tab between items). I just hit "F9" which reveals everything running and got quite a shock!

Turns out yesterday the New York Times published an article about multitasking and efficiency that is quite relevant. One thing it suggests is having a large screen (so you can keep visual track of more things at once). Pity my iBook only supports 1024x768 resolution no matter what you plug into it.

This year is really really something...

This ramadan too i couldn't go to the mosque or shalat eid al fitr, no ngabuburit too...😢

I tried to see it from the good pov.

There's no family gathering which is full of unnecessary conversations, coz sometimes those guys who are older than me can't mind their bussiness. Sorry not so sorry, when someone keep asking you about your personal stuff and private life, sooner or later you'll feel like "I'm so done with this person". Also they will keep repeating the same classic questions over and over again, like there's no other interesting topic.. and when you try to counterattack them with their personal things, they'll be like, glaring and being cynical at you. 😩💩

Me from outside: 😊💢 *i keep holding on🎶*

Inside my savage mind: should I counter attack them or shouldn't I? But they'll think I'm a impudent kid.. well but this thing is awaaaay too much... what should i dooo? *such a dilemma, such a pain* 😩

In the end, We greeted each other via video call so if there's someone asking those questions, I just cut the connection off, then said, "sorry, we got a bad internet connection here.." or said " ha!? I cant hear you.. it keeps buffering!"

Whatta lifehack. 😏

My pals and i too couldn't see each other this year, so we created a chat group, then gossiping about this year. After eid al fitr we used to hang out somewhere at the mall or at our fav random street vendors, but not today , I guess.

On the other hand, S couldn't meet and celebrate eid with her mom coz she lives in Java island while her mom is working at Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara..

S: I'm alone guys... because of this pandemic, she couldn't come and see me... 😕😢

Me: *sending virtual hug*

A: that's for the best, brace yourself...

Me: *send a finger heart pic*

S: lol.. but I don't love you~~~ 😂

A: hahaha.. 😂

Me: meh.. what're you thinking about? in our country it means "gimme some money" lol.. 😗😆(showing finger hearts, then rubbing the thumb and index finger together)

S: what do you want? I don't have any money.. 😂😂

Me: But you said you're holkay (slang: richman) (she often said, "I'm a holkay coz I have a lot of premium and vip streaming accounts, hohoho 😎"), so gimme Salam Tempel 😗😃 (They put the money inside the envelope. You'll receive this from someone older than u, when you shake their hands (salaam) (during eid)).

A: Me too coz i'm just 2 weeks older than her.. 😅😂

S: Stop being so absurd, or I'll throw yall to the river... 😬💢

Me: hahaha 😂😂😂

A, she has different religion, but she always gave us some respects during Ramadan, sometimes we felt so sorry for her because she used to love foods and drinks (snacking).

It was a story during our internship era. 12 pm - 5 pm (the hardest time in a day).

A: 😵😵😵

Me: pal, you can drink some water.. you don't have to hold yourself back..😐

A: no.. I'm ok..😵

S: here, drink it! It's ok.. 😬 *bring a glass of water*

A: it's ok guys, I'm fine... but, why did you do this during ramadan, guys? 😥

Me: so you can feel the hunger and pain of the poor. It's just 1 month, can you imagine it, if you have to feel this everyday in a year, 2 years, 10 years? That's the moral lesson... 😀

S: lah tumben bener 😂 (it's rare to see you saying the right thing)

me: gelut yok.. (let's have a duel..) 💪😑

In the end she didn't drink nor eat anything until maghrib. Very tenacious kid tho she didn't have to do that.

But when S on her period (you are not allowed to fast during ramadan) , she teamed up with A to pissed me off.

S: waaah.. this cookies is the best, hmm... nice.. so delicious..😛😆😗

A: yeah.. yeah... this cola is good too.. waaaah...😛😆😆😆

S: A, here have some cookies....😛😂😂

Me: 😐😐💢 *start praying in arabic with loud voice* 😤😤

A: what are you doing, vic?😅😂

Me: Repelling satan...*glaring at S and A* 👀💢

A: can you stop glaring at us... 😱😢

S: oh my sweet baby... plz don't get angry... 😏😆

Me: I'm not angry, i told ya i'm repelling satan.. if you're not satan then get outta my room!! 😬👀💢

they: 😂

As you all know, Moleskine has been associated with artistic and creative professionals for a long time, but there is the other side of the Moleskine brain that is not being tapped into since the beginning. It is the GTD/Hack/Productivity side of the other hemisphere. So last year I tried to work with Moleskine to generate a brand new promotion about this unexplored terrain. Too bad the content was not good enough so we gave up until this year.

Finally with help from Lifehack.org, we are able to find more great contents for an exhibition to be held in Hong Kong city'super's 5 locations in July. There will be a free booklet for visitors to pick up to learn more about all these hacks. We will put 4 stamps in every store (creativity, productivity, fun and archive) so that people can stamp their booklets. Soon as you get 4 stamps shown in our cashier counter, you get 20% off for any Moleskine purchase. Showing the stamped booklet to our concierge counter makes you eligible for one of the 3 workshops/seminars about productivity. You can also tear off part of the booklet to vote for the best exhibiting entry in the event, voters are eligible for a lucky draw! I can't believe how much efforts has been put into this cool event. Do visit us at city'super (http://www.citysuper.com.hk) and play with us!

And now my entry to the hack. I've converted my Mole into a loudspeaker. Battery and electronics are hidden inside a cut out Mole.

At the back of this MoleLoudSpeaker, a switch to turn it on, a mic for you to speak to, and a horizontal switch to select either speaker, police siren or fire engine siren modes. So have fun to innovate with a Moleskine notebook and do aim for a lifetime's supply of Moleskine! Again, check out the details here.

I've got a clemetine box near my door that I dump my pockets into when I get back to my apartment. That way I avoid losing my walet, keys, phone, etc. I also keep all my chargers there so I can leave stuff there to charge.

I'm also addicted to binder clips. Notice that I've clipped a CD to my car keys so I'll remember to take it out to my car next time I actually drive it.
