I just got off the phone with a nice lady with a pretty accent from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services to ask about this outdated notice we'd seen posted in a local store this week - she stated these guidelines are set by the "Food and Nutrition" branch of the Federal Government's USDA as to which specific brands a parent is permitted to purchase for their kids under 5 years of age (WIC program). Not that indigent parents with children in crisis have enough stressors aside from being forced to search out specific brands of juice on a store's shelf? Wonder how much money they have left in the WIC program to disburse to other programs once it's not utilized? This store most likely received hundreds of notices last year and enough paperwork from The Commonwealth of Kentucky to keep an entire staff at work for the next decade.
She said no Campbells products are permitted.
A lot of time, effort and money were spent on creating the above bureaucracatic insanity.

On September 27th, 2008, Trooper 2 responded to Waldorf, Maryland to assist the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department with a motor vehicle crash. Working alongside first responders, two patients were identified for transport. A second medical provider would be required to assist with patient care in the helicopter.
Trooper 2 encountered poor weather while attempting to deliver the patients to a trauma center, and diverted to the closest airport. The helicopter crashed in Walker Mill Park on approach to Andrews Air Force Base.
The flight crew, one patient, Ashley Younger, and the Waldorf VFD medical provider, Tonya Mallard, were killed in the crash. One patient, Jordan Wells, survived the crash and was located, treated, and transported by rescuers.
