Somebody lost a toilet. Or at least a box with toilet labeling. Items do frequently fall off trucks here. This box currently does not appear to be a threat.

13508 Factory Lane, Louisville, KY 40245

Sign in front says funded by Stock Yards Bank & Trust. Totally wiped out a natural area & migratory path & hundreds of acres in one fell swoop with no regard for the living beings in the surrounding area. Respiratory problems & COPD are alive and well here on the East End of Louisville, thanks to our local governing bodies complacency and corruption.

This clever dog was set in place to prevent Canadian geese from populating the area. This pond now has blue stakes erected & strung together with monofilament fishing line. A number of Canadian geese are paddling approximately 30' out from this cardboard dog, honking.

From Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources:

Recycle fishing line to help the environment -

Discarded fishing line can easily snare fish, geese, ospreys, otters, turtles and other wildlife. Kentucky Fish & Wildlife urges you to make recycling your line THEIR first line of defense.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is working to educate the public and reduce the amount of discarded fishing line and soft plastic baits in public waters of the Commonwealth. These are volunteer driven programs and we need YOUR help! You may volunteer as an individual or participate as a group. If you would like to be a part of our effort to clean up Kentucky waterways through proper disposal of line please continue reading for further information. The soft plastic bait recycling program is currently under development and more information will be available soon. fw.ky.gov/Fish/Pages/Fishing-Tackle-Recycling.aspx

The College Park Aviation Museum is located adjacent to the College Park Airport. The College Park Airport is the world’s oldest continuously operating airport established in 1909 when Wilbur Wright came and trained military officers to fly the government’s first aeroplane. The airport is known as the “Field of Firsts” which includes the first female passenger, first machine gun tested on an airplane, and the first controlled helicopter flight.

This was a curious evening as it was a brilliant waning gibbous moon coupled with a rising fog resulting in some fun shots & patterns. You could visibly see the fog & energy being emitted moving upward from the ground exactly as displayed in these photos and condensing around the dog. Hopefully they do not use toxic or carcinogenic pesticides or herbicides. Soccer field next door.
