Take a bow, the night is over
This masquerade is getting older
Lights are low, the curtains down
There's no one here
Say your lines but do you feel them
Do you mean what you say when there's no one around
Watching you, watching me, one lonely star

My daughter Ashley has the most beautiful long golden blonde hair. It just shimmers in the sunlight. :) I got the idea to photograph this earlier this morning while I was braiding her bangs. I think this image works well for the Macro Mondays theme "Less is more" and can fit in with the minimalism aspect of the weeks theme. HMM everyone!

19/52: The weekly challenge - Using flash or artificial light.
I used my iPad as the only light source for this low key image. The flower is wild garlic from my garden.
I may be away from Flickr for a day or so while I install everything to my new MacBook...well, when I say I install, I mean my husband installs! ;) My current one is having a lot of issues...battery, storage (or lack of it) among other things...one being that the screen is ruined where Podge used to rub his cheeks against it...who knew that cat juice could get under a screen...cat owners be warned! So, time for an upgrade. I'm not sure how long it all takes, I'm a total techno dummy!

My attempt at a series of minimalist images. All images are taken spontaneously from my everyday life, and are therefore a mix of phone and camera shots. Enjoy - Jadsp

Test Pattern is a system that converts any type of data (text, sounds, photos and movies) into barcode patterns and binary patterns of 0s and 1s. Through its application, this project aims to examine the relationship between critical points of device performance and the threshold of human perception. From large-scale installations to live performances, the Test Pattern project has been derived from many different types of application since 2008, including a Compact Disc version and the more notable series of site-specific installations. This is the first publication related to the project.

Still & Alone
This was taken on a very rainy day in Newport Coast. Love days like this because you have the whole stretch of beach all alone (4 miles of nothing but me). the life guards (why they were there I don't know) were looking at me like a nutcase :)
Thought this minimalist feel went with the mood for the day.

We almost didn't see anything on our way to the top, which was kind of cool, never knowing when we would reach the top. On our way down it cleared up, revealing great scenery in all directions.
