We Started off at my house shooting in a room or two yet the pictures didn't come out all that well so i decided to head to the local common to get some rock 'n' roll pictures more suitable for them!

Let me know what you think of this edit as i don't normally mess around with the colours to much yet i think it looks ok !

The "4" in the Food 4 Less sign for this store may be missing, but this is surely still a Food 4 Less.

This is a PAQ Inc. owned Food 4 Less which opened in 2017 in a former Lucky, Albertsons, and then Haggen in that order. PAQ Inc. gutted most of this former Lucky, relocating the entrance doors to face the front of the building, while the exit doors use Lucky's right vestibule, which remained intact.

It was fun to do this. But it is hard to breathe at Lake Wara Wara because it is at an altitude of 4 kilometers above sea level. The higher one climbes, the more difficult it is to breathe. It also gets much colder and there is less vegetation. It is also more windy, and eventually [the hiker] will reach a high plataeu, where there are many lakes. In this place due to its altitude [the hiker] should walk slowly and drink plenty, and rest frequently.

It is also a place where a coat or sweater should be taken, but [the hiker] will probably want to remove it, the reason being is that the body generates more heat when under the stress of altitude, especially if [the hiker] is a smoker. The urge to remove the coat or sweater should be resisted firmly, the reason being is that the sheer chill of the wind against your skin going unnoticed may cause immobility of the hands, numbness and inflammation that can persist for hours after leaving the place.

It is true that the forest smells like eucalyptus and pine. The reason being, is that it is filled with eucalyptus and pine trees which both have a particularly distinct smell. Anyone who has grown up in an environment where such aromas dominate the nasal sensory input will never forget the smell and every time it is experienced will bring back a lifetime of memories.

There are also many flowers in the forest of eucalyptus and pine. It is true that I once composed a piece of music about the forest. This is it here>>>>>>> www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqGTsYXsCgU&list=PL1x1TG2vvEY...

One thing that is true is that there was one time when the forest caught on fire, and in the city the sky turned yellow and there was ash falling from the sky. I needed to go to the store to buy light globes and batteries, and my neigbourhood is close to the forest,, and the smoke was so thick I coughed very hard and I felt like I could not breathe; and arrived home gaspng for air. It is very important to be careful around bushfire smoke, even if you are safe from the fire, the reason being is that smoke inhalation can be extremely harmful.

Black morph birds make up less than 5% of the population of South Island piwakawaka, and are very rare in North Island populations.

The piwakawaka is one of New Zealand’s best known birds, with its distinctive fanned tail and loud song, and particularly because it often approaches within a metre or two of people. Its wide distribution and habitat preferences, including frequenting well-treed urban parks and gardens, means that most people encounter fantails occasionally. They can be quite confiding, continuing to nest build or visit their nestlings with food when people watch quietly. There are two colour forms or ‘morphs’ of fantail, with the more common pied morph occurring throughout its range, and the black morph comprising up to 5% of the South Island population, and occasionally occurring in the North Island.

The New Zealand fantail occurs in two colour morphs: pied and black. The adult pied fantail has a greyish head, prominent white eyebrows, brown back and rump, cinnamon breast and belly, white and black bands across the upper breast, and a long black and white tail. Juvenile pied fantails are of mainly brown tones over the head and body, and lack the striking eyebrows and chest bands. Black fantails are mainly black, with black-brown over the rump, belly and flight feathers, and occasionally have a white spot over each ear. Juvenile black fantails tend to be more dark brown than black. Black fantails are rare in the North Island, and make up less than 5% of individuals across the South Island. Main difference between the subspecies is the amount of white in the tail. Fantails are occasionally seen without tails!

Voice: fantails are quite vocal, except when it is particularly cold. They regularly give ‘cheep’ calls in a number of situations, such as when foraging or alarmed. The species’ distinctive song has been described as “a chattering tweeta-tweeta-tweeta…. of regular rhythm”, and of high pitch. It can be heard throughout the year, particularly during the breeding season (August-March), but least of all during cold, wet days of winter - www.nzbirdsonline.org.nz
