Something you love about yourself.

Lenscaps are tasty. So are picnics.

Missed my second photo of the year. Guess I was just to busy enjoying my day off.

The Revue mat 12 had only two settings: Sunny and cloudy/flash.

I need to drill a hole in my lens caps and wear them around my neck! I am constantly putting them in my pocket or dropping them in my purse - or just laying them down somewhere in the house - when I get ready to shoot something. I spend way too much time going back and trying to find where I put them. I am, as a rule, very good about putting things in their proper place so I can always find them; for example, I never lose my keys. My lens caps seem to be the one glaring exception.

Tea lights on a bookshelf (careful!).

original version

Me messing around takign pics while riding in the car. The lens cap to my kit lens.

sneaking a shot in the cory hall 2nd floor bathroom yesterday.

it looks much more eerie here than it actually was, but the bathroom itself is pretty weird. there is just *something* about school bathrooms, you know?

Photos I took using an old Nikon F801 with 50mm f/1.8D lens, just testing the camera's functions.

E-mount and A-mount lens cap comparison

Saw this in Mifsud's and thought it would suit my silver EF 28-90mm.

So much nicer than the dull plastic offerings they have nowadays.

made in Britain by GEC circa 1980s (could be older). I find old vinyl records and vintage equipment for a recycled, renewable wheelbarrow disco down in Dorset, UK! I love posting interesting audio and decor on flickr.com to see what sort of response the items receive. You can follow highlights of the 'finds' on my twitter just follow 'joimson'

I took a few Holga shots today in order to posting one of them as a photo of the day later when I get the film developed..

But back home I begun thinking that did I remove the lens cap at all... Really, not sure about that. :D

So - instead of posting a black frame as a photo of the day after few days I took a macro thingie of that lens cap with my digital just to remind about the importance of taking the cap away before shooting with Holga...

But from now on - the next few days shall be pictured with this plastic wonderfullness. I'll post the photos as soon as I get them developed. And I am really eagerly waiting to see if I remembered to take the cap away in the first place ;)

When I got my old point-and-shoot some years ago, I actually wanted a DSLR (Who don't?). At that time they were just too exspensive for my income as a student (which -speaking mathematical- converged to zero …). In hindsight I would say that it was a good decision because I went very well with my Casio and was able to take some nice shots …

Anyway: My new toy is the Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm VR lens. I already took photos on our neighbours wedding and I think the Nikon is great to handle. There are some problems with overexposure and whitebalance but I guess that I will solve those.

I signed up for a new flickr account because my old was German. I had enough of dealing with flickr's censorship-crap.

So here it is the obligatory lens-cap-picture.

Taken with kitlens @ 105mm and f/5.6

It's fixed. Finally. I bid my pardon to the Canon Gods for all the cursing and swearing I did. They seem to like me after all. (Hint: I won't complain if it started raining fish eye lenses, though. :d)Auto Tagged By Tagnics

An old picture form when I had my 400D. I used the reverse 50mm lens trick here to get this macro effect.
