In art, nothing was aloud and if you were breathing wrong you got yelled at but this is the one day we had a sub and it was perfect
While procrastinating today I decided to take a picture down the barrel of my Sigma lens at the text on the lens cap. This looked better full screen, but at least it got me away from my essay for a couple of minutes...
Day# 41
Yep, so this is my lens cap nothing special today. :( although I do absolutely love nikon's!
Press L!
There's not a day, hour, minute, or second that goes by when I'm not thinking about photography and my Canon.
I was out in the autumn night looking for some locations, then i spotted this neon sign on the harbour in Trondheim. Had to improvise a stand with the lenscap and my wallet. :)
The Nikon lenscaps of the 70's have distinct lettering on the inside, compared to their modern variants and knockoffs.

Trying out my LX5 as ordered an eye-fi card today and will will likely be taking the LX5, the eye-fi card and my mobile on holiday soon. I want to be able to upload photos as I go. Making sure LX5 will be up for the job as I'd rather not have to take DSLR with me.
En faisant cette photo de nuit, j'ai bougé alors cela a créé cet effet que je trouve pas mal finalement.
A lot of people complain about the removable lens cap on the Lumix LX3, but I'm used to it (having used an LX2 for two years). Here's how I hold it.
homemade lenscap with styrofoam insert.
The styrofoam ended up rubbing on the glass so I took it out and replaced it with
another piece of cardboard glued in place with Elmer's. It's stiffer too so this is what
it looks like now:
Following the critical and cultural success of my seminal work "LensCap", I decided that the addition of a frame would exemplify the constaints within which photographers work. These constraints mirror the travails of life and Man's inability to escape the psychological and physiological conundra which are illustrated in other works from contemporary artists.
By framing this particular work I feel that it also encloses any further interference with the essential composition and provides an expiation of Man's inhumanity to Mankind.
You will also notice that the frame has obscured the artist name thus emphasising the importance of subject over author.
The frame used was AcidBurn_08 from PhotoFrame 4.6
alex's cat, max. was being very good for me, mostly because i was letting him bat & bite at my dangling lenscap while i shot… :)
