There are parts of Amsterdam that looks like you are in Venice. This scene of Amsterdam gives you a view behind the houses of the Red Light District. On the left you can see some of the red light coming out of the windows, reflecting on the house on the other side.

A shot of the box of my very first lens, and the caps removed in order to take it. (Shot with the new lens.)

fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_Eiffel

My lens cap has been confiscated!

Lens Cap Belt Buckle - molded in oil clay, sand mold after that, poured in aluminum, painted acrylic! Polaroid cut to fit a lens filter that my lens cap will clip onto!

this is my hand holding a closeup lens over nikon lens cap :)

After the movie was over, my teacher proceeded to ask me why everyone had their cameras with them.

Like I'm supposed to know?

This is how to put in the shape.

cwd613: Slices - Like a diptych or triptych, but you can choose how many photos to use. The photos should be arranged as a series of long/thin "slices". I'm not crazy about this particular image, but I'm showing it here just as an example of a possible layout.

Experimented with Super-Takumar lens in bathroom to test sharpness, DOF, and ability to adjust white balance from RAW photo. Quite pleased with results, but must remember to use wide aperture in moderation. The DOF at f/1.4 on this lens is ridiculous -- check out the blurring at the end of the word "Pentax" -- must use power wisely, Grasshopper!

jon and i went to target last night, and of course forgot to bring in the goods. everything sat in the trunk of the car, out in the cold all night. i was highly amused to find that our advil liquid gel caps had frozen. then i went to eat my green & blacks. it was frozen too. i was no longer amused.

you can also see in this picture how everything in my arpartment is yellow, at all times. the pic has been edited to try and correct it, but there's only so much lightroom can do. the lights are yellow, the walls are a horrible off-white yellow. i can't wait to live somewhere worthy of painting the walls and buying new light fixtures!

And the main course for tonight is.... =)

Camera: Yashica FX-3

Film: Expired Konica Centuria 200

Lens: Yashica 50mm 1:2 ML

Nikon D300 with a AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5~5.6G IF-ED lens and MB-D10 Multi Power Battery Pack/Grip attached.

Now place your things on the paper. You have to remove the black cover first and then the sceleton cover. Prepare a box for your screws (I used my 40D lenscap)

weird... looks like my desk o_O

I increased the contrast on the pic. The offensive pixel should be easier to see now. It's not that big a deal, but now that I know that it's there I can see it on all my pictures. I'll upload a quick test set tonight.

Fly with your Nikon camera. (Somewhere between Munich and Budapest with Lufthansa)

Anybody drop a 58mm Pentax lens cap on the island in Constitution Gardens Lake? I found it there today, around 3 PM.

made in Britain by GEC circa 1980s (could be older). I find old vinyl records and vintage equipment for a recycled, renewable wheelbarrow disco down in Dorset, UK! I love posting interesting audio and decor on flickr.com to see what sort of response the items receive. You can follow highlights of the 'finds' on my twitter just follow 'joimson'

Taken with my industar-m lenscap any my nex 3. Makes it look like a toy digital or old digital camera. Not bad for a lens designed for an 8mm spytype camera though.

Sometimes I wonder, what's the point of having such a nice camera if i'm going to try and make it look like a not as good one on purpose?
