Lefty is a fixture in Portland. He plays guitar and harmonica at the Saturday Market every weekend in the open air for cash. He amazes people because he is without a right arm and, yet, manages to play with a pick duct taped to his stub (see image below). He plays rock and roll, sings and plays harmonica. He manages to get quite a crowd.
He is funny , friendly and loves to talk in between his sets.
Yeah, a little out of focus. Shot it candidly as I walked past. Don’t stop, don’t linger, don’t even let them know you were there. The best of photos are the ones without photographers.

This of course is Poncho & Lefty's. A friend of ours started with a successful food truck, and decided to open this awesome brick and mortar location. It's in Beckley, West Virginia, and is well worth checking out for some tasty fish tacos. Of course there are other options on the menu, but for me, the original takes the cake. This building Sat abandoned for a long time....I know over 15 years, but likely longer....and was previously an auto garage. After a ton of work, they've rebuilt and rehabilitated the building into the creative restaurant it is today.
Right-hand screw refers to a screw where the thread angles clockwise about the axis of the screw. This means that you must turn clockwise to tighten the screw or screw on a lid, and counter-clockwise to loosen the screw or unscrew the lid 12. In English, there is an easy rule to remember: “righty-tighty, lefty-loosy.”
Right hand thread is the most common as it follows the direction we are used to. It is also ergonomic, as most people are right-handed and can therefore better use their right hand to tighten the screw. Psychologically speaking, we are also used to this kind of tightening and loosening direction.
I think Kwyn is left handed, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes.

This is my customization of Hicalories 'Lefty' Vinyl Toy, which was launched in the UK at the Bohdi Gallery with a show to go along with it!
A big bunch of artists were kindly invited to customize one for the show and I'm very proud to say that I was one of them!
This was a combination of drilling lots and lots od indents in him, covering him in metallic red enamel paint, adding a splash of green enamel to the top and finishing him off with an acrylic face!
