The area near where I live sits in a gentle valley where mist and fog naturally collect. This is handy for those mornings where you aren't particularly organised.

Pancho and Lefty have been combing the Sonoran Desert looking for the the treasure of Tumacácori, a large chest of gold that was buried by a Jesuit priest under the mission outhouse. Unfortunately, the mission if it ever existed, has faded into a Sonoran Desert sunset. Hopefully, the stench of the outhouse remains so they know where to start digging.

Thank you to everyone who prayed and sent well wishes. He is doing the physical therapy diligently - without pain medication! - and showing steady progress. It will be a long haul, but at the rate he's going, he should have a full recovery.
Update on the spider - Last night at 11:00 p.m. the spider was dispatched without incident and is no longer a threat. Yes, the same spider - he looked me in the eyes with a look of recognition...
