Lefty the Squirrel

Place your left foot forward, go quietly, try not to elude..

And there you might see Lefty waiting for food.

 

Almonds, hazel nuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds,

Placed in a feeder can supplement his needs.

 

Watch him in silence, he’ll let you observe,

This amicable creature we need to conserve.

 

With chipmonks approaching the squirrel border line,

Lefty's winter foodchain is fast in decline.

 

As a timid species, he needs food conservation..
