Our Grandchildren pose in front of Christmas Tree.
One thing I discovered was two of my grandchildren are left handed. It's obvious that the boy on the left is so; but during dinner eating ice cream it became certain the boy on the right was also left-handed. Alice in the center is for sure right-handed.
Only 10% of human beings are left-handed all over the world; what are the odds of that happening in one family of three children?

Even on my days off I go back to work. Our flavors this week are blackberry and MANGO!
Custom left-handed guitar created by Michigan luthier Tom Murray.
As Tom, my brother Rich, and I hatched the idea, this instrument became a combination of our favorites: the beginnings and general pickup configuration of a Telecaster, with a swept-out cutaway and upper bout inspired by Jazzmasters and Firebirds, with a heavier body and upper-mount switch from the Les Paul school of thought. The pickups are both Seymour Duncan single-coil-size humbuckers. This guitar saw much stage time in the late 90's and served as the main live room guitar for many tracks on the pure suspension "give in" album.
In this shot, you can see the string-through construction, the 5-bolt bridge, the maple center strip that allowed us to create the larger body, and the quilted maple neck.
"I want candy!"
a comment was made on my last photo that I'm a big kid... this I guess is further evidence of that fact...
it's in my right hand, even though I'm a leftie because I needed the left to hold the camera and take the shot....
Established in 1980, Southpaw Guitars is the world's largest left-handed music shop. My brother is a left and it was a life-long dream to visit this shop. I admit it was a fascinating experience to see all these pieces of art.

my wife very kindly took the boys out for the day and i painted like my life depended on it (well it does!)
yesterday, my brother in law gave me a pile of old slates, so alongside canvas and wood i had a go with these. it's a lovely surface to paint on.
is it going to be afree art friday piece? i'm not sure. i'm kinda fond of them so will probably keep hold of them for the moment.

This short play by Clarence Coo about left handed people is really a clever reference to gays and lesbians in high school.
