Ever since a pup, Taylor will sit and watch things to try and understand them. What is it? Does it affect me? Is it dangerous? Can I eat it? Once she has satisfied herself that it is harmless it is as if it is filed away for future reference. So canal barges are safe and she no longer barks at them. Not sure what it is here that caught her attention but it could be a bird or a piece of fluff!

Representatives from Lumen Learning support faculty from across the state to reduce textbook costs by incorporating open educational resources (OER) into their classroom. The session was part of a Hewlett Foundation grant project based at the University of Mississippi. The project saved Mississippi students more than $120,000 in the fall semester alone. Two (02) CSX locomotives pull a mixed manifest freight train eastbound on the old Louisville and Nashville Railroad track in Gulfport, Mississippi, just past the Anniston Avenue crossing, on Sunday 07 August 2011 at approximately 1600 Hours.

In recording this video, I'm standing on the balcony of my room, looking north, here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, and experimenting with the zoom lens of my tripod mounted Kodak "Easy Share" Z710 digital camera, which has a screen resolution of only 7.1 megapixels.

We miss hearing the locomotive whistle and/or the crossing gate bells because the train was moving too fast and I was moving too slow in adjusting the zoom lens, which on this particular camera, must be set BEFORE any recording can begin.

Learning English through Kindness

For the second time in February, volunteers gathered at Emerson Point Preserve in Palmetto, FL. Together they worked to "Give a Day" and "Get a Disney Day." 36 volunteers participated in the program, helping to remove exotic invasive sansevieria plant (mother-in-law's tongue) from the conservation property.

Since January 1, 2010, Manatee County's Natural Resources Department has hosted a total of 7 "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" volunteer workdays. More are planned for March, so please check the Disney website if you would like to participate. We also have regular volunteer opportunities and a dynamic team of helpers who help support and care for the preserves. Join our team today! I was shooting the gorilla when I heard my boy talking behind me, I turned around to see him asking the keeper about what she was doing

She was planting food in different hiding spots around the cage so the ocelot could search it out

"cool" said the boy :)

I bought myself a drone! I've been shooting a lot of closeups of birds and flowers for awhile and wanted to start photographing from the opposite perspective -- pulling back and seeing the forrest for the trees. Seeing the big picture from a point of view that a lot of people don't ever get to experience.

My friend Brandon who teaches a drone training course at the tech school in Green Bay stopped over to help me get it set up and gave me a few flying lessons. The drone is compact, smooth, fun, and easy to fly! This is a huge game changer and another great tool in my bag of tricks as a photographer.

Sebességfüggő lámpavezérlés! 50 km/h sebesség felett a település "kapujában" a jelzőlámpa pirosat ad :-)

A sávelhúzással együtt ez érezhetően lassítja az átmenő forgalmat a településen.
