It is such a blessing when we get the chance to have a quail family come into our yard to feast on the buggies that are in our grass. This family has 9 babies. They are all sooooo darling. I pray that they will survive the often harsh desert life...
The babies would stay near their mom or dad and would mimic their parents in searching for bugs to eat.
So Cute!
Pardon the grainy picture taking...I had to take these through our window!

Scientology's emeter is modified to use in the "secular" branch called Applied Scholastics. The new meter is called a Learning Accelerator. It has the same components of an emeter, which Scientology claims is a "religious artifact" and is used in the same manner. The use of this is for "Word Clearing". What is a non-religious group doing using a "proprietary religious artifact"?

Grace is attempting to put back on a screw type lid on a spice jar. She has yet to accomplish it. Taking it off is easier than putting it on.
We are loving the growth of her hair after so little for so long! Her mom was also without hair as a baby and now has tons!

I'm learning maya right now. Lots of good stuff inside there, but I don't feel ready to begin a big project in it as I'm still afraid something will just break in the middle. Continuing with the learning books (mastering 8.5, visual effects, and modeling/animation). If anyone knows a good reference for mel scripting for generative modeling and animation, I would be deeply obliged. Incidentally, flickr does some cool blocking stuff to transparent pngs when you upload them.
