On 18 May 2019, we participated in a special umuganda (community service) gathering Rulindo District community members, international and local partners, to support the construction and completion of the Masoro Learning and Sports Centre, located in Masoro sector.

Following Umuganda, Imbuto Foundation Board Members, Rulindo Disrict officials and partners toured Masoro Learning and Sports Centre facilities, which will offer various educational programmes, free of charge, to residents of Masoro sector and neighbouring sectors.

Umuganda activities were concluded with a football and a basketball match between Imbuto Foundation members & staff, partners, as well Rulindo District officials and community.

The centre was built in partnership with Rulindo District and Kate Spade New York.

This is a daily (at least) scene at our house: Alice pestering one of the cats, and Jamie pulling her away and correcting her before she gets whacked.

Jamie does this if it's Ike (above) or Fish. If it's Murg, he chases her on sight. Ike and Fish have often chased Murg for fun, so I guess that's the culture Jamie was raised in.
