Words to the Picture
A spontaneous photoshoot with my Girlfriend on a sunny Saturday afternoon. This bridge where she stands is near our home. It was perfect cuz there’s no „traffic“. We could peacefully do some shots. She was in the mood for a shooting, i needed to practice a little with portrait photography .. a perfect combination.
A portrait shot is not that easy as some big players may let it look like. Got to get the right emotion, pose or background. Pay attention of the background, you may get the first two perfectly but if you got a bad background, the picture is ruined.

Shot during the historic snow and freezing temps this past February. Let's say I was not prepared for the weather, due to a lack of planning on my part. Using an old 4x5 in such temps adds another challenge to keep my fingers from falling off.
CP 5976 hangs a left around the super elevated curve on the outskirts of Innerkip as they bring some empty autos westbound to Toyota. CP H78 will occasionally get SD40s on it now and its a can't miss event, a reminder of years past when they ruled the rails along the Galt sub.
