Without the support of its companion, this aged barn would collapse into total ruin. As our gait and awareness have slowed, my wife of 46 years and I find as we slip into our sunset years we find a greater need for support from each other than ever in our lives.

I've been going through old photos trying to weed through them - delete most, send some to clients and put some in the patient's file just so we have a photo of them. I keep coming across photos that are so sweet and really do show the kind of care that people's pets get when their pet comes into the building but they have to stay outside and wait in their cars.

Shot during the historic snow and freezing temps this past February. Let's say I was not prepared for the weather, due to a lack of planning on my part. Using an old 4x5 in such temps adds another challenge to keep my fingers from falling off.
Work took me up to Defiance, Ohio today and I happened upon the ND&W switching the Johns-Manville plant. No, I am not the one leaning...

CSX E903 thunders through the control point of Big Shoals with 200 empties for McClure in tow. The pair of R-2 brackets, although leaning, are a nice touch. Presumably these were installed around 1979 with the construction of the Coal Run Subdivision, giving trains a way around the junction during busier times.
