Parasol Mushrooms I think. Found on open ground these two beauties were stood alone. I couldn't resist taking a quick snap.

Well we know the direction of the prevailing winds! Captured on the grounds of Paletta Lakefront Park, a 14 acre property and mansion donated to the City of Burlington.
Mist Mountain, one of my favorite peaks in Kananaskis Country. There are so many majestic peaks in the Kananaskis that are magnificent, but the way Mist Mountain is tilted fascinated me.

Chase came over to my studio to do a quick shot of himself. I snuck a couple of shots myself.
He's still an idiot, but he's still my idiot. Yes, we're just friends. No, I don't really care if anyone is upset that I'm posting a picture of him. That's what friends are for.
Walking the woods in winter is wonderful. You can move freely through places you can never get through during the summer months. You see the bones of the trees and bushes. The pines provide a soft place to lean and land if you are so inclined.
Meet the loyal and faithful guardian of my books and his apprentice (they are feared Bobble-Tail Setters, especially trained to scare away mean book thieves ; ))
