A Union Pacific "Fast Forty" SD40-2 leads an eastbound train departing Riverdale Yard in Ogden, Utah.
A misty shore sidewalk on the lower reaches of Wastwater. The trees caught my eye as John Bleakley and I contemplated the conditions after the long drive around to the Western Lakes.
After a mooch around, conditions meant we moved East to the Central Lakes in search of better conditions. We did get quite a few decent shots around this spot though. I didn't think this would amount to much, but quite liked the feel of this scene on considering it later on the computer!

Please forgive me for my absence. I woke up the other morning with a really sore throat and it's been downhill ever since. I shall try my best to catch up with everyone, this weekend.
A visit into the woods earlier in the week revealed that the autumn colours had still not fully appeared. But I managed to find this Silver Birch which had fallen slightly against its neighbour.

Messing around again with color and my groceries and of course still trying to get better at processing and texture. It's snowing again so trying to brighten my day with color and healthy food. What helps you beat the winter blahs?
After stopping meeting an eastbound 240 in South Haven, and stopping again so a dogcatch crew could get on in Kimball, the 243 is good to go once again. Here they are seen near Eden Valley, rounding the bend at MP 69 (shut up).
