Lean is a combination of cough medicine (promethazine), codeine and usually sprite, with some sweeties thrown into the mix. It gained popularity in the 1990's as a cultural accessory via its association with rap and hip hop. I found that it provided a decent enough ride, lifting my mood for much of an otherwise mundane afternoon. However, I should point out that lean is addictive and is prone to overdose, so take it easy if you use this.
This is the "Krystal" leaner mirror by Howard Elliot.
It is a large contemporary mirror that features a frame that has a dramatic honeycomb effect. Its large stature makes it a perfect oversized floor mirror. Oversized mirrors come with special wall mounting hardware for extra security when leaning against the wall.
The outside dimension is 53"wide x 83"high and the inner dimensions (mirror size) is 34"wide x 63"high.
Howard Elliot is known for Mirror, accessories, wall art and much more. They have a wide variety of styles, shapes, sizes and colors! Check out our showroom for some of their products or feel free to visit their website www.howardelliott.com
This was one of the many little bird cages that were on display at THE wedding, each were filled with lovely flowers but this little one, that came home with us. Today, we told Lewis that there was a little bird inside and this is him listening to it whistling - of course, it wasn't, it was just he bird cage leaning on him!

I was finally able to make some time for photography and decided on the East Bay hills. I was only able to get in about an hour, most of which was spent around this tree. There looked to be numerous possibilities though...I will be returning here at sunrise at some point.

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Still working through the archives........ You may have noticed I've returned to posting every day when I can and sometimes several images at a time. I find it helps me sort through them if I'm processing ready for putting online, otherwise I have a tendency to just put it off! Some don't make it that far and go straight to the trash if I'd rather other people don't see them! You may of course think that most of the stuff I have uploaded is also junk. Well that's fine, and I don't mind if you tell me as much. You might well be right! Good thing you didn't see the others then! :-)
I wish I had a better angle while shooting this, I would have loved to have got a shot of this head on. Taken at the winter carnival at Lake George, NY. It amazes me how these riders get SO low, even dragging their knees on the ground, and don't fall! I miss owning a motorcycle... although I had a street bike and never rode like this.
Ben and his best friend Oscar, a wonderful Doberman, sharing a tender moment in 2004. They are from New Zealand and are the sons of my friends D and SB. Oscar left us earlier this year and he is dearly missed.
