The switching layout is now pretty much finished. All areas are polished off and it’s a blast to operate. I’ve been quite happy with all the subtle details I’ve been able to model with this layout. It’s very fun to operate and I think really compliments whatever is running at the time!

Scraplifted from Scrapbook Shortcuts - a layout by CZ. I added the stamped people - (stamps - LB KOTM) and changed the quiz. I used a quiz from SJ's book The Big Picture (it's actually for kids about a parent but we altered it a little).
My last one!! Yay! I did it! So much fun. I'll miss it. Can't believe it's the end already!

As we step inside, it's time, as always, to look at the floor plan! This store's layout is unlike anything I'm used to from Fred Meyer, likely due to the expansion and the partial two-level design of the original part of the building. I'm sure I'm going to slip up in my description of the locations of things in the store as a result, so watch out for that! :)

Day 16 of my 365. This is my daughter Belanah doing a layout on the trampoline in the backyard. She's a gymnast, so she does layouts on the ground too, but it's so much more fun on the tramp. She can't do a standing layout on the ground, but on the tramp she can. It's a great place to practice standing flips to build confidence.

In case you were wondering what I'm doing the whole day. First I layout, then I analyse the layouts, then I layout the layout's analysis and then I design new layouts, according to the layout's analysis ... and In the end I'll layout the book in which the layouts together with a layouted analysis of the layouts will be shown, together with a layout of the formula with which it will be possible to predict the effect, these layouts have, in advance.

Oi geeente, eu vim aqui trazer mais um layout pra vocês. Dessa vez é da Demi Lovato com o seu photoshoot para Heart Attack! Eu acho que eu era a única pessoa que ainda não tinha feito um lay com esse shoot, então...
Bom, mais uma encomenda que pediram pra mim fazer, e aí está. Acho que nunca fiz um layout tão rápido que nem esse. É pro site HeyMcFly.tk, e eu adorei ele. A dona também. Bom, tem um slide no lay também, e em breve vocês verão ele online no site da Lessie. Bom, comentem :)
This store has such a strange layout that I decided to make another AutoCAD plan for it. About the only normal things about this store's layout are the produce and deli sections, and floral to an extent (beyond the fact that it's sharing space with customer service). The dead space in the back right corner is the backroom, and, other than a little space in the back left corner, seems to be about the only backroom space in the entire store. There is no pharmacy, service bakery, or service meat departments, and everything else is crammed into substantially less space than normal. However, I've found that they have nearly the same selection of general groceries as a standard Safeway, just much less of each product, and they even have nearly the full bakery selection, which must be brought in from some other store. That's why it looks so cramped and cluttered in the pictures.
Usually before I accent the diorama with birds, I prepare a series of schematics such as the one shown in this image.
Flight patterns add realism to maritime dioramas; but the entire piece must be balanced and made believable to the discerning eye.
Before we really go into the pictures, however, let's look at the store's layout. Nothing too weird here, though the placement of the wine and beer department is a little odd. There really isn't any "typical" layout for a QFC, like there is for Safeway or Fred Meyer (coming sometime, I promise!), but most of the newer ones are something like this.

Today I started with the other side of the curve. I am starting to worry that once the last bit of the curve is finished, somewhere I missed a stud and I have to start all over.
